Haha its a pet peeve of mine as well… address means how it looks when your about to hit a shot. To be fair, down the shaft isnt as bad as the lean the shaft forward 20 degrees pic

I think the stamping will never look as clear as a smooth finish but a solid strike should yield decent results. If you use smaller size stamps just make sure you don’t go crazy hard with the strike as you might go too deep and get some of the square edge on the ridges.
