Anyone going to the Tinley Park Golf Show?

Last year was the first year since Covid. Chicago Golf Show was cancelled too. It wasn't bad...a few of those gutter/window booths, but mostly golf. I even made it to the final of the longest putt which was fun.

Just gauging interest. Not sure if golf shows are going the way of pants in LIV golf or they're going to survive.

I'm not going to the Tinley show, but I will be going to the show in Rosemob. I was just thinking about it the other day and I'm kind of excited. The last golf show I went to was in 2019. I guess absence does make the heart grow fonder.

Though, I have no doubt I will walk out of the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center asking why the hell I just attended this show.

I think I’m going on Saturday. There’s also a show in St. Louis this weekend. I went there last year. Figured I’d head north this year.

will also be at Rosemont, though the women that nabbed me the last time to sign up for the dating service will be avoided.

we have a group that traditionally meets up there to discuss our life's trials and tribulations, and then walks the aisles to see all the stuff we really don't need.

one guy always tries on twenty seven pair of shoes before deciding, another enters every free trip offer and enjoys spam email for life.

third guy is already arranging where our pre-show breakfast will take place so we can carpool.

better to be in the Stephens garage than leave my car at the Ihop.

like the TV promo used to say, do you know where your catalytic converter is?

$15 fee to park in the Donald E. Stephens garage is why Rosemob is Rosemob.

With that tacked on to the entrance fee, this becomes a $25 ticket. Is the show worth that? I guess it depends how bad you want to see the Shannon Rovers and if you're in the market for new gutters.
