... I think the most "Joe" I ever saw him was a 3rd base Sox coach was having a discussion with an ump and Joe walked all the way from 1st base and as soon as his fat aZZ got there he threw out the Sox coach who wasn't even talking to him. The Head Coach came running out of the dugout and got out a few words before Joe tossed him too. Phil Cuzzi was another with a quick hook and an elephant like memory because if hew threw you out once, there was a very good chance he would do it again. 

... As CS said, umping is very difficult. Even at the Little League level . But you need to have a thick skin and take a ton of grief throwing someone out of a game as a last resort.

DBacks are currently in 1st and an entertaining watch! If you’re able to put aside your frustration towards umpires, I recommend you give ‘em a chance 😊

... Yes, Joe did it as a joke after tossing Ozzie Guillen for about the 10th time. The crowd didn't think it was funny and of course he LOVED that. West reminds me of someone that isn't allowed to be mentioned on WRX.

... Haha not frustrated with umps as I think most do an amazing job. Just the few idiots that think they are why people come to the ball park. I barely have enough time to watch anything these days after keeping up with the LPGA, College golf, the Suns and trying to follow the off-season with the Bears/Cardinals. But thanks for the heads up and I might start watching the Diamondbacks later in the summer.

My nephew played. So I tried to watch on tv a few times… Couldn’t do it! 🤷🏼‍♂️

My son plays and is being recruited, plus I used to coach, so I enjoy watching, more in person than on TV, but will watch if the matchup intrigues me.

... Pretty true for all sports I think. I love watching football on an 85" screen with surround sound but after playing QB for my entire career and watching defenses pre and post snap, you can't see a play developing on TV. Double moves, safeties taking the bait or just flat out speed on the outside and knowing a deep throw is coming is very exciting and all lost on TV.

... Womens college softball is the first time I heard Beth Mowins and fell instantly in love with her style. She is still the only female announcer I know the has a very pronounced delivery like many of the instantly recognizable men over the years. Anytime I did an announcer like audition for a commercial I channeled Mowins.

I enjoy college softball a bunch and put a game on one of the many TV's in the Men's Grille at work often. I'll be going back and forth this afternoon between the LPGA Major down in Houston and whatever college softball game intrigues me. 

Yes indeed TS and LP are big supporters of the girls on the diamond. 🙂

Folks that lived in trailer parks without a high school education that could not have cared less about any sports other than Bama football. They are an enigma.  They usually have very high recruiting classes, but doesn’t seem to translate on the field.  
 

With USC and UCLA joining the Big 10, if they added lacrosse I honestly believe within 3-5 years they would be a consistent top 10 program.

Yes it is!  1st round is underway, 4 games everyday, then you get a few OT games, it’s the best.

Not a huge NBA fan and will only watch playoffs, albeit not much.  The regular season and postseason are just so different in my opinion.

... 👍 I think probably more than any other sport. More physical, less player rotation and most importantly for viewing MUCH more energy from the crowd and the players.
