Congrats to Lydia, solid all 4 rounds and a nice way to start the season.  Lexi looked very good but her first round was dud.  Lilia is gonna regret Sunday, you don't get many good chances like that to win.  Lydia's 68 was a very solid round but compared to the week scoring it was a little better than average.  Lilia threw in a below average round on Sunday and paid the price, but many players have had to figure the Sunday jitters when trying to close it out, hope she has better luck next time.

That was another impressive win by Lydia. Not that it was unexpected but the way she is grinding out her wins. No lucky hole outs from the fairway or bunker or draining 25 -50ft puts just great saves when she is in trouble and taking advantage when she is in close. The birdie on 17 ended up critical to the outcome with Lilia Vu then playing like she was derailed by it. I thought the sensible decision would be to go for a playoff not the win on 18 after Lydia miss hit it off the tee. That was a brave 2nd shot still going for the eagle chance...I think Lilia will learn from that. 

Another great round from Lexi she just needed a slightly better first round. If she keeps putting like that another win is iminent. I thought the KLGPA players underperformed with Aditi and a couple of the Europeans putting in good performances.

Lilia just wasn't sharp enough on her shots into the green at the end and Lydia was. Lydia's final drive, however, sounded like it hit a rock in the desert, then she got lucky. Congrats!

That's too bad, she got $4,825.00 less!  Fortunately, the difference in Rolex points awarded is insignificant.

 

My observation is "The rich gets richer and the poor gets poorer"!  Snowman at the last hole of any tournament always happens to players like Annie or Yealimi Noh, never to Lydia or Nelly.

Annie still picked up $19,333.00 and 0.97 RR points keeping her at 174...yes could have been a lot more. I guess like Vu she dunked it on 18! Full payout list is here...

I think the LET didn't want to tarnish the posting.....it's fair to say from what was broadcast it could have been a lot better.

It's little weird that the country that is supporting Women's golf does not have any Women Players in LET or LPGA.. 

 

I could be wrong and there are Saudi players.. I did a quick search and did not find one..

 

I think they are exploiting women to look at their ankles..
