Been working on earlier wrist set and pressure shift. Better?

Do you see the tree trunk to the right of your head at address? Watch how your head moves past that tree trunk in the downswing....

Get more left sooner..imo

Especially with driver, your head should stay where it is or even fall away from the target on the downswing. To do that you have to be more left, sooner and then push up and back from that loaded lead side. You're still stacked on your trail leg at the top.

How about the wrist hinge in backswing? Kind of doing it piece by piece.

You have issues related to the sequencing of your shoulder tilt and shoulder turn.  You left shoulder lifts and your head move towards the ball in the backswing.  Your shoulder plane is a little too flat.  Shoulder tilt and hip movement in frontal plane are closely connected, so hip motion is off.

You should begin your backswing by tilting before turning, and get a steeper shoulder plane.

Nicklaus himself said he pushed his left shoulder back by turning it down under his shoulder.  IIRC the word “down” is in italics in his book.

You have some of the same problems as the “don’t do this” guy in this video, expect of course to a much lesser degree.

Golftec and Dr. Rob Neal at I believe World Class Golf have put out some stats on degree of shoulder tilt at the top which you should compare with your own.

I had actually typed this out with more deference and humility, and less certainty, but lost my connection and it disappeared.  Take all that as read.

I went from this to this in one day because I got tired of the late hinge and keeping weight on right side too long. It was an exaggeration to load the wrists which I never did fully. My main issue after that is my upper body moves too far forward on the downswing causing all sorts of problems. @Zitlowand @getitdaily gave me some good ideas for tilt on downswing. Baby steps.

Looks good, most guys have already shot their wad (white line) by the time they get to P5.

You don't want to get too narrow and lose momentum.

That swing was because I got tired of not loading the wrists. Just an exaggeration to see if I could do it.
