Wilson Staff Model (alternatives)

Long time no post. I recently went back home for a visit and brought some "rare" golf balls back - Wilson Staff Model R and Chrome Soft X LS. They're not avaialble locally near me, so i need to ship them in from overseas.

 

The X LS is quite long, little firm, but otherwise, quite a good ball.  Previously i had been playing Bridgestone Tour B X, it's very good, although slightly firm from time to time.

 

The Wilson was on my radar for a long time, i finally found some, even at discounted rate and i really like them. I can look past the stains and discoulouration. Together with the soft feel, i really like the ball flight. Yesterday was my first real round with it and played the same ball throughout 18 holes. It's pretty piercing and doesn't feel as high as i normally hit the ball. 2 pretty big power fades were still findable, and not as bad as how they looked off the tee.

 

So..inevitably, i'm probably going to lose some and I want to be able to stock up. I'm wondering if anyone else who played the ball feels like it's similar to another one they've played that might be more readily avaialble to me on local market ?

I've yet to find anything too close. IMO its the best ball on the market.

I am down to one sleeve of the original FG Tour.  Going to be a sad day.

 

how does this model compare?  Not sure if anyone is able to compare to any of the FG Tour iterations.

The Triad is close to the FGTOUR but nothing was better.
