What are the JDM GOATs?

Bought one of your sets and replaced the dg shafts with mmt 95s  and they feel great..going to take them out to the course for the 1st time tomorrow.  My raw  pp9003 straight necks  with steelfiber fc90 will be hard to beat out though.

I bought a set of your OnOff in the DG200S and they did go left on me...as in a pull which I almost never do. Switched the shafts out for some Excalibur Rapid Taper shafts and they are awesome. No more lefts and very strong, high ball flight. Taking me a bit to dial in distances as the lofts are stronger than my 2011 Yamaha. All in all, very happy I finally got a set of these.

The 2015 OnOff Kuro Irons are fantastic...  I have a 5-PW set in excellent condition I may let go 🙂

Same thing, went left all day and that is not a normal miss for me either.  Going to drop them with a guy in the morning to check lie angle, play my irons about 2 flat.

The  Kuro's are mostly to take them for a spin.  More one night stand than love. They will likely find their way to BST in a week or two, but maybe they will be impossible to part with...

I used to have these. They're amazing.

Really tough to beat the 302 and Personal 2 for feel. Miura MB-5003 is equally incredible feeling but in a different way. I've played a lot of different JDM clubs and these are my top 3.

I completely agree on the MB-5003. I've been playing a set for close to a decade. They're difficult for me to hit much of the time, but when you hit the sweet spot, it's magic.

I have to say Onoff 2013 forged irons are probably one of the best irons ever  made.  They are just as good as 2015 Kuro and possibly even bit more forgiving as it has slightly wider sole. I personally prefer the look of 2013 Forged vs 2015 Kuro (personal opinion). They are beautiful looking irons.  Extremely soft and cushy on impact.  They are more soft than Muira or Vega based on my experience.

Those are bad a**....Wish they would re-release those as is.  Timeless JDM CB, very polarizing irons.

The old OnOff Kuro were very well respected… would like to try the new hollow versions - may have to find a place in Bangkok with them.

 

I’ll add the copper-chrome Epon to the list - either 301 or 302… I am biased as I’m still playing my 301s
