Ventus Red VeloCore Question

Looking for some thoughts here or maybe affirmation its real.    

 

I recently purchased a ventus red velocore and noticed the lettering "VENTUS" did not have the holographic sheen like my other one did.  Also noticed my ventus blue velocore has the holographic sheen as well.  

 

First thought, could be some are made with the holographic sheen and some aren't, possibly dependent on manufacturing or if its the second or third run, etc..  

 

Second thought, its a fake.  Looks legit, even has barcode on the butt.  Figured that was my next call over to @Fujikura Golf but wanted some thoughts before I waste their time.

I figured someone might say this.  Really hard to see the "sheen" in picture vs lighting in reality.  Nonetheless, I will post shortly.

Here are the two.  

 

7s with as stated "holographic sheen" on the words "VENTUS".  Hard to make out on my crummy camera phone.  

 

6s, lettering doesnt have the "sheen" and more of just a white lettering.  

 

Hoping for a consensus of all yes, maybe some yes or no's regarding this holographic sheen... thanks!

Where did you purchase the white lettering Ventus?

I’ve seen blue and black and heard chatter of a faked red, just never seen one…. Yet

a couple questions - where did you buy it? And why was it not already built with a tip and grip?

 

send us a photo of the butt label and we'll tell you the deal.

 

if you bought it from somewhere other than an authorized dealer then you're taking a risk...

 

the silk screens of all ventus shafts are silver paint, that includes "6-S Fujikura" and "velocore"

Not to thread jack , BUT....

 

I know this doesn't come as a surprise , anyone can buy legit velocore from dealers from here to kingdom come in their raw state , so I'm curious about your question above.

it's not a surprise, but it is against our policy with our dealers.
