Ping Hoofer Tour

Just wanted to get some feedback on this bag... I have an opportunity to possibly pick one up and was just wondering what your thoughts are.  Currently using a Jones Utility and a Ping Hoofer Lite... both are great but slightly smaller than I think I am comfortable with.  Just wondering if the Hoofer Tour is too big, or overkill.  I do not carry, mostly ride or use a pushcart, carry 14 clubs, std grips, and I don't normally carry a lot of stuff in my bag, mostly the essentials.  Playing all Ping clubs ATM and love the looks of the bag, just looking for some pros and cons basically.  TIA!

It’s big. Not staff bag big but it’s much bigger than a hoofer lite. Obviously it’s heavier as well. 
 

I would never have one as my main carry/walking bag, but if you exclusively ride or use a push cart and want more space it’s a good stand bag option. 

However, you did say you don’t have anything in your bag besides the essentials so I’m not sure why you are wanting more space.

Yeah, it's big, but not huge. My bag is currently in storage, as I swapped it for a standard Hoofer. If you don't need the extra storage, then you'd be served well by a Hoofer. Otherwise it's a quality bag.

I have a Hoofer Lite I use for travel and any walking rounds and keep a Hoofer Tour on my cart for rounds at my club. Hoofer tour has been great, but as others have mentioned, it's large. It's really not a good bag for walking due to the weight and size of the bag, but it is well made and looks very good. I played this weekend and was able to stuff rain pants, rain jacket, and extra vest in the main pocket without issue. The bag is typically overkill for the amount of things I keep with me, but it rides better on my cart than the Hoofer Lite, hence me keeping it around.

It's an excellent bag, although I wouldn't want to walk and carry, great for riding or a push cart. Tons, and tons of storage. I especially love the 2 valuables bags that are clipped into a couple of the pockets. The material holds up and cleans up easily as well. I have had it since they were initially released, would not hesitate to buy again.

Thanks all... I just like the looks of the bag mostly.  I do not carry, more of a rider or pushcart really.  I can get a great deal on it so I was thinking why not.  I do like my Hoofer Lite, but the Tour looks great, I'd get it for that reason alone.
