Stability shaft users

Wondering about some long term results?  Built a new Maltby putter with heavy head and standard putter shaft feels a bit sloppy. I normally put a PX 6.0 shaft in my putters but don’t have anymore sitting around. 
 

wondering if any stability users have noticed much of a difference or should I just stick with a stiffer shaft?

I have had one for a couple years now. I am not sure what it is but I will never have a putter without one.

People argue the benefits of after market putter shafts but handling a heavy putter head is an area I think the stability shaft excels. I was in a similar boat. Had a Newport 2 and changed the weights to get it to 370 grams at 34.5” and the shaft felt whippy like it couldn’t handle the weight. Went to a stability shaft and it’s been worlds better  especially on longer putts.

Stability excels on lag putts where a longer, quicker stroke is required. You don’t feel like shaft flex or anything like that

They’re great. On heavier heads they make a more noticeable difference.

Love mine. I pulled one recently and sold it as I am experimenting with some all graphite options and I am starting to regret it.

I've had the Stability Tour and the Stability Carbon. The Tour is lighter than the Carbon, and slimmer. Both offer mucho stability on putts longer than 10 feet, no flex in the shaft. I like that a lot. 

 

On putts shorter than 10 feet, I can hit the putt a bit harder and not worry about it going off line, meaning the shaft stabilizes the head, no twisting.

 

It helps having a SeeMore Si5 mallet that is very stable in itself.

 

I won't have another putter without a BGT shaft in it. I have their BGT wedge shafts also, in my GW and SW/LW, 52 degree GW and 56 degree SW/LW. They are very nice and stable, no flopping or twisting. I find that I'm going after my wedge shots more without fear because the shaft stays stable. 

 

I can't think of a better word than stable. LOL

That’s a great description. I am going to keep my eyes out for a deal via marketplace or eBay. There are some demo shafts out there but I’d rather find one of those “well I’ll try to get a little money back” kind of sales.

Hmm. Well this intriguing to hear. Lag putts are definitely something I need to improve on and without the time to practice putting as much as I should, I could use all the help I can get from my equipment

This is all great to read as I have a Stability Tour Blackout coming to install in my Spider Tour.. can’t wait
