Z-Star Diamond vs CSX LS

Been playing these balls on and off the past year and I really like them both. I am having a hard time with which one I am liking better. Curious if anyone else has compared these balls at all. Any insights would be great!

Played Diamond yesterday and LS a couple weeks ago. Definitely play very different for me. Diamond I would put in the category of extremely spinny balls, had a couple shots notably balloon on me into the wind. Loved it on/around the greens though. Was hoping to see some additional pop with Diamond but didn't see that. LS was very straight and long off the tee,much harsher feel on/around the green. LS definitely feels like it has some extra pop. If I could mix the two it would be the perfect ball, but separately not sure either will be my ball. Still looking for gamer for the year. Thought it was Triad but it's a little short off the tee, getting ready to try yellow Tour BX.

I agree, I love the LS off the tee and with the irons. It's a definite toss up between the two, do I sacrifice a bit of distance for the greenside control or just learn to play the LS. You are spot on that if those could be combined then it would be absolutely perfect.

I played on some firm greens on Monday and had a hard time getting some spin greenside with the LS, been thinking that was more me than the ball. Definitely need to continue to test between the two. Please let me know how the BX plays for you!

When making my most recent ball choice I did a pretty extensive A/B comparo between CS X LS and Tour B X. Both were good enough to tempt me to choose them but interestingly (to me at least) I actually found the Tour B X seemed noticeably longer on my best drives. Not making an huge claims but out of about five rounds with each ball I'd say every one of my ten longest tee shots were with Tour B X. Not sure what that worked out to on average but has to be a good few yards.

The part I wasn't sure of was irons. No distance difference between them but I had a feeling the Tour B X maybe came in just a tiny bit steeper on mid-iron approach shots. I like a little more height and descent angle (need all the help there I can get) but honestly, I don't think either of those two balls suffered at all from green-holding ability.

I'm not a "feels" player to any great extent but Tour B X is one of the clickier balls I know of around the green (chipping and putting, mid-length pitch shots). I love me a clicky ball around the green so I give it the nod there, although the CS X LS is certainly no Supersoft in that respect either!

Two different balls. Diamond spins a ton especially off irons while CSX LS is low spin all around for me. Diamond is also soft while the LS is firm. I prefer the XV over the Diamond because of the feel and it spins less which is what I need anyways.
