Cart bag or stand bag

Love my Ping Hoofer Lite Paradaiso, but the clubs getting tangled is getting annoying.  I dont carry much anyway, so now I'm looking to go into a cart bag.  If I were to walk, I use a push cart anyway and I ride most of the time, so a cart bag only seems logical.

 

I know the C130 is the goto choice, but any suggestions for other brands/models to look at?

 

I almost pulled the trigger on the Cobra Ultralight pro, but then I feel like the Hoofer Lite is already the top choice for stand bags, and I want something new.  Hear nothing but good things about it though and the gold colorway at the moment looks nice, but there's no stores near me that have one to look at.

Ping Pioneer - I have one from 2018 that's still going quite strong, no real issues with it, wear has been minimal, a bit around where the bag is strapped down but that's semi expected and it's been 5 years with the bag. I am looking at replacing it with a Hybrid Bag as I want a stand for practice but the size for my stuff. 

 

 

Vessel Lux Cart - Vessel comes up since they're not an OEM and bags have minimal branding. I'm looking into a Vessel but the Player IV Pro as my option.

Had to change the topic name, cause now I've been looking at stand bags after remembering how big the c130 was in person.  I also remembered that my cart bag toppled over a couple of times....and then I checked out gfore's website and saw the Daytona plus on sale.

 

I've also checked out the 2022 Sun Mountain 3.5 and have always loved that bag.  I definitely want to try the gfore daytona plus but am worried of club tangle, which is why i'm looking for a new bag in the first place.  The past times I had a 3.5, never had any issues at all, but I am intrigued by the gfore, I do like how they look and if they're made by vessel, then that's a plus.

I have the newest ping pioneer. I'm liking it. I don't need all the storage it has but I am enjoying the top size and club separation. I ride 100%. Sun Mountain makes the c130 with a stand if you want the stand to avoid topple at the range or when loading/unloading.

I just bought a Pioneer recently, mainly because I wanted a cooler, and used it one round.  Took it back.  Just too cumbersome.  I vote for a nice 14 way stand/hybrid bag.  I just got a 23 Hoofer 14 and I'm liking it.  Tried them in the past, but a lot of tangle.  The new bottom on the 23's has alleviated this from what I've seen so far.

The GFore Daytona looks really cool, but waay too small when I saw it close up

Had a Ping Pioneer for the last 10+ years and just replaced it with a new 14 way Vessel Lux Cart bag.  (Fathers Day present from wifey & kids).

 

I liked the Pioneer so much and looked at its baby brother the Traverse, but the Vessel checked every box and I love the matte colors and minimal branding.  Fits perfect on my ClicGear too.

 

Currently looking/shopping for golf stand legs because I don’t like laying this beauty on the ground.  Something I can store in the umbrella holder or side pouch.

You can have both.  There are a lot of “hybrid” bag choices; bigger than carry bags, but with a stand.
