Cleveland OH Golfers Stolen Clubs PSA

First, sorry mods if this is in the wrong section, so please move to the correct forum if need be… Just trying to help a buddy out.

 

He and his fiancé went to a Guardians game in downtown Cleveland this afternoon and upon returning to their parking location, they found out that his car was stolen along with some personal belongings; including his golf clubs. Not that he had some extraordinary expensive bag, but he asked me to send out a PSA to those in the area if they come across any or all of his clubs for sale. The most identifiable clubs of the set is a Scotty Cameron Pro Platinum Newport 2 mid slant cut down short to approximately 33”? It has an orange golf pride grip and an orange Cleveland Browns headcover. Next is his iron set, Cobra King F7 One length Irons, blue (he thinks Lamkin UTX) grips 5i-GW.

Driver was a Taylormade M1 440 stock stiff shaft. And a Wilson Fat Shaft 3 hybrid. He had a few other clubs in the bag a couple of knockoff wedges/ 3 wood. 
 

With the slim chance that someone comes across this set or any of the clubs, please let me know and I’ll pass on the information. He not only hopes to get them back, but more importantly to ID those who stole his vehicle. Thanks

I knew a kid who had his car stolen with his clubs in it in the Cleveland area as well a few years back. They never found the car or the clubs.

Sorry to hear about this as I doubt that it will do that much if those who stole his vehicle were ID as they just give them a slap on the wrist. Might be easier to spot the car instead of the club as they were locked up in the trunk I hope. What kind of car was it a Kia or Hyundai?

Just an FYI, I put an Airtag in my bags so I can keep track of them when traveling. It would have told him where the car was if he had one in there. Police will use that to recover if it's available.

Thanks guys I’m sure he would appreciate you guys keeping an eye out…sure enough the car was a Hyundai which they ended up finding late last night in East Cleveland. Front bumper ripped off, wheels nearly ripped off the front axle. All personal items including golf clubs were gone upon police finding the vehicle
