" OK, I'll take that as I don't have a F in G clue." 😅

" See you need to take uniform color, starting QB number, injury report, sexual proclivity of cheerleaders, and several other factors and put them in a spreadsheet and it will eventually provide you with the solid picks ATS. I've got the sides, I just haven't hammered out the math for the O/U's yet"

GM Pushed Shift Time Back to Let Workers Watch NFC Championship Game

The Detroit Lions have never played in a Super Bowl, but the team’s appearance in this Sunday’s NFC Championship game may pave the way for its first Big Game. The whole city is understandably excited, and to help its employees enjoy the game, General Motors is delaying a shift at its Flint Assembly Plant.

Some employees at the plant took to social media to celebrate the decision. One shared GM's internal memo to workers, notifying them of the change. “We recognize the Detroit Lions playing in the NFC Championship game as a rare, unique opportunity that warrants this temporary schedule adjustment to allow employees to enjoy the game and make it to work on time.”

GM’s Flint facility is the only one with a third Sunday shift. The plant builds Chevrolet and GMC heavy-duty trucks, and many of the location’s almost 5,000 employees have been in the game day spirit all week, wearing blue and silver to work.

This is a rare move from the automaker. One employee responded to a post on Reddit to say that they’d never seen a delay or shutdown in 13+ years, even for two feet of snow. Unfortunately for local fans, the NFC Championship game is away in San Francisco, but they’ll at least be able to enjoy the show before heading in to build trucks on the graveyard shift.

Nice of GM, but I would hate to buy one of the trucks assembled by workers who come in right after watching the game. Especially if the Lions lose. Could be a few screws missing.

Possibly DS, but possibly not when the smart ones remember that the company provided them time off to watch the game.

Ahh yes, you would be correct. But I feel given the right coach and circumstances he could creep up to a 12 -15 QB which in the NFL means a full-time starter with upside. He's already rated at 18. So that means there are 14 QBs below him. These guys in the draft are not locks by any means to be any better. I guess based on pure talent Caleb is the best bet to be a top-tier QB in the NFL but not a guarantee. Fields reminds me a lot of RG3 before he got hurt and was never the same after. With Shanahan, the Redskins went to the playoffs with a gimpy RG3 who was below average as a pocket passer. I think Fields can be better than RG3 and then you have a keeper in my humble opinion

I just realized he went to Ohio State my bad Ugh!

They are a terrible school for QB's He might be the best QB ever to play there, which isn't saying much

... I think if watched every play of every Bears game the last 3 years you maye feel differently. His highlights can be spectacular. But as just a passer Fields rating is much lower and last I saw 31st. Just opinions but I would argue Bagent is much better than Fields and if they would have continued to start him he would be a legit middle of the pack NFL QB. And who knows his upside? I was very impressed with him. Fwiw I was never a RG3 fan and figured he would be injured sooner than later. Same for Wentz. To be honest, I was up in the air about Allen and didn't understand how GM's thought someone with serious accuracy problems in college would become more accurate in the NFL. And of course he is one of the very rare QB's that did.

... And I agree while Williams or Maye (like every college QB taken in the draft might not live up to their hype) I have zero doubt they will be better than Fields. I think Maye will be a top 10 QB and Williams has almost unlimited potential but also a lower floor. Most scouts have him rated a Generational Talent. At least it will be fun to find out.
