3i: T150 vs T200

Hey all.. wondering if anyone has compared T150 and T200 at the top end of the bag? I have T100 4-6/620mb 7-9 currently combo’ed, just looking to fill that 3i spot. T150 seems to check all the boxes on paper, but wonder how much I’d be missing out on not going the T200 Utility build route?

Awesome setup! Do you like the T150 4i a lot, or did you consider going T200 there as well?

Don't need a ton of extra help necessarily, could probably game the T100 3i just fine, but I'm looking at T150/200 to help bridge the gap between fw and 4i a little more evenly. Just curious if people have compared T150 and T200 in a long iron and what that comparison looked like.

T/150 4 iron is easy to hit And the shiny t-200 doesnt match the set well Im OCD soooo lol

lol that's fair! That's at least a small fraction of the reason I'd like to go 150 to "match" cosmetically with the T100 long irons.

I believe the T-150 will be the unicorn irons for so many people. Best looking titleist irons ive seen they will be a big hit

All depends on your confidence and ball striking.  I learned the game using a 15' 1 iron, been playing 2i-down since taking up golf. 

 

I was playing 620 MBs, until last year when I decided to buy T200 2i & 4i, and T100S 5-W; it wasn't the greatest experience, though not terrible, just too much spin.  My MB long iron ball striking isn't perfect but still premo; one of my favorite parts of golf. 

 

I recently ordered a new 2023 T100, 3-PW to fit with T200 17' 2 iron.  None of the OEMs these days offer a set 2i, if they did, I would buy one.

The difference between T100 and T150 is the latter has strong lofts, but still requires the same good swing that 620 MB 3i demands, T200 not nearly as much.

I was personally hitting the t200 long irons at least 10 yards (several times closer to 20) longer than the 150s. Highly recommend trying both on the monitor or range.

I'm right there with you.... still play 3-P mbs off and on as well. Without any time to practice I'm trying to make the game a little easier on myself... just have more trouble thinking through my gapping and where I want clubs/yardages to sit on the top and bottom end of the iron set.

Very interesting, thanks for the response. Have heard some say that they didn't see any yardage differences between the 150 and 200. T200 3i could move that gap too far from 4i. I am considering replacing 5w with a T200 2i though... and I wouldn't mind the extra juice there (not that they're making a 2i iron in the T150). 

 

Did you end up ordering anything T200 or T150?

I really wanted to get a 4 in the t200 but the gap was just to big. I did 4-7 t150 with 2 weak and 8-g in the t100. I am going to get a 2 or 3 in the u505 or t200 just to have some fun with.
