DP8410 = 10 minutes working time (before it firms up)

DP8425 = 25 minutes working time

These types of adhesives are strong and impact resistant, which means they don't get hard and brittle.

Okay great that makes sense I may get the other one next time I would prefer to have a little more work life

I used your link it wouldn't come up in any searches but I used the link and it populated in my Amazon account and I ordered it yesterday so we will see if it shows up I don't know why it won't come up in a search

Which links? “your link” and “the link” are mentioned.  I used the previous one listed, came up as no stock.
Here in Canada, we don’t have alternate suppliers or access to the product in retail quantities.

McMaster carr won’t ship to residential addresses in Canada , which is a shame as they have a lot of hard to find products.

Can you post the  link you actually ordered from?

thanks.

I provided an Amazon link yesterday, what shows in stock in my area (Los Angeles).  MRO supply stores commonly carry 3M adhesives.  Also, places like Mouser Electronics.  Google?

Tried that link again, out of stock.  Then I changed the delivery address to a zip code in Palm Desert and it’s in stock.  So appears that Amazon “out of stock” can also mean they won’t ship to Canada.  Never seen that before.
Mouser Canada doesn’t “ship to my region” . Looks like MRO doesn't stock 3M.  I’ve been down this rabbit hole search before, being in Canada , it’s one of,  wont ship, buy 12, or exorbitant price.

Thanks for your follow up.

Just to be clear, by MRO I wasn't suggesting a specific company.  MRO = Maintenance, Repair, and Operations/Overhaul.  In the USA we have McMaster, Grainger, Zoro, Fastenal, etc, etc.  Most of the time, expensive, but not always.  Also, try electronic supply houses.  Newark, DigiKey, places like that.

Yeah,  Amazon Canada shows stock.  Prices are crazy high though.  I'll stick with the Golfworks VB1001.

Be mindful of waste.  One tube will build 2 or 3 iron sets.

A reminder to not use the mixing nozzles.  You will lose likely 50% of the tube.  Extrude enough for the clubs you are doing and a little more and that's all you need.  That's assuming you know how to stir enough to mix it properly.  You'll never see them used in a Tour Van.

Thank you yeah I decided not to use any of the mixing nozzles I just got it started and then got enough out and mixed it myself but even with that process I don't feel like I did that many clubs before it was gone but I will have to keep track with my new tube and see how many I get

I am sold on the GolfWorks Maximum Strength Tour Set Plus Beaded Epoxy for my builds.  Using the GolfWorks spring-loaded shaft extractor, I barely apply any heat to get a shaft / head or shaft / adapter apart.  Combine that with 0 failures since I started building clubs for me (6'4" / 220+ hockey player with 110 driver swing speed), my son (6'3" / 200 hockey player with 115 driver swing speed), and my wife, and I am convinced it's the best overall epoxy.  Add in the ease of using the dispenser gun that makes the 2:1 mix ratio perfectly (which is, I think, the true key here is not screwing up the epoxy / hardener mix), and it's an even better overall choice in my mind.  I made my wife's set the 1st time w/ some used Recoil shafts that were lighter than her steel shafts in her old Ping irons, but I did a terrible job of it (inconsistent shaft rotation and terrible ferrule installations).  Despite none of them failing, I wanted to give her a nicer looking set and rebuilt them with some BB&F Steve Rogers ferrules this summer. She's a Captain America fan (maybe obsessed a little bit w/ Cap...or a lot), so she loved the new build and consistent iron play has been her strong suit this summer, so I guess my rebuild was worth it.

All that said above from last year, I've been using the DP810NS recently, and LOVE the fact that it just flat out works without being runny, taking a bunch of excess material to get the job done, and leaking out all over the place when you're shoving a ferrule, shaft, and hosel together.  Doing 1 club at a time isn't a problem with this stuff either, because it's easy to get the ratios right with the mixing gun, and being able to label my little disposable cups for the individual club being built (LW, PW, 8i, etc) is great when doing 4-5 clubs in a row and needing to make sure all of them cured properly (I use a fresh cup and stir stick for every batch to be sure I got a good mixture and cure).  Yes, it's a bit OCD, but my attention to detail on getting ferrules "pretty" and all the other parts of clubmaking is where I struggle the most, and it's only gotten better since moving to the DP810 because they are so much easier to work with when you know you're not dealing with a nasty mess of epoxy once you start the assembly process.  I haven't had a club come loose in a while, and I'm really hard on my clubs, especially short irons and wedges that tend to get lots of hard ground impacts as I try to flight balls under the wind with strokes that take pretty heavy divots from solid ground.

I’ve used Brampton quick set for no more than 2 shafts for many years. I have zero complaints. Best thing is it releases when heated pretty quickly.

I was using that for a couple years and had multiple failures even when prepped meticulously and I never liked the fact part a clumps up and even though you can heat it up with water it's just an extra step and doesn't give you confidence
