What Golf Habit Do You Find Most Annoying?

The overly serious casual round player...you know the one who takes forever over the ball, takes a long time to perfectly line up the line on their putt, and takes a few practice swings, only to be backed off and start again because he heard a bird chirping in the distance or a rodent rustling in the bushes.

Years ago had a ball go past me in the middle of my back swing after we had waited for the group ahead to clear.  My next swing put that ball in the woods.  Don't hit in on people.  Its rude and potentially dangerous.

My two are slow play and the current love affair with Aimpoint putting - especially amongst people who aren't breaking 90 anyway - just putt the ball.  The last few months the ones I generally see using Aimpoint could putt just as well using a 2x4 and a crunched up Coke can honestly.

I can make an aimpoint read in under 15 seconds, I find the plumb bombers take way longer.

Hitting into your group, we aren't going anywhere, the course is backed up. 

 

Music --- it's not my lawn ... or your lawn, it's our lawn ... you are not the only one out here

 

Taking too long at the turn and complain that the group behind you passes and you lose your spot

 

When Pro's can have 10 stroke swings between rounds, why are you surprised that you do? 

 

If you want to move the ball a bit, I don't care, especially if it is not a pristine track, set yourself up for success and to have fun.
