If you're a big Ping fan that's a pretty sweet deal. Each of these were what $900? a PLD is $1490 right now so that's $5090 right there so you get a free display case. 

 

It's the bargain of the century lol.

I like Ping products but you’d think they’d at least give you five entire putters for that price. 
I mean, four heads in a case? Who cares? 
(Unless I’m dumb and I didn’t understand the ad?)

These aren't really meant to be gamed they're more collecting pieces. I think like the Zing or Pal 2 are like 310g and no one is rolling that.

Funny enough they're exact copies of either the gold putter in the vault or if they have the actual winning putter that one.

I can see the actual putters having value, but copies? And don’t understand why anyone would would want this taking up space in their house.  Is it look at me, see what I’ve got? I’ve got lots of old clubs , clubs I used and had some good experiences with.

I love Ping and have collected for years but the 4 heads in a box set looks really weird and the pricing is predictably astronomical.

 

Even the 88 Slam concept is a bit meh (pretty sure there must be a few Scotty slams since then?).  Much as I love Sandy Lyle's winning Masters putt with his trusty old Pal, I don't want or need to shell out the equivalent of 1k to commemorate Jeff Sluman winning the 1988 PGA with a Pal 2.  I can also get a Pal and a Pal 2 in good condition for under £100 total whenever I like.
