There’s club ho-ing and then there’s just unhealthy hoarding. I need to escape the latter. All prices include shipping to the lower 48. Please feel free to make offers. Lowballs may be ignored depending on my mood, but I’m always happy to send additional photos or answer questions. The only trades that might tempt me are Kyoei 705 CMB or Miura Retro MB-101 irons. Or a Graphite Design AD-IZ 85R shaft.

 

 

1. Mizuno MP-20 HMB irons

A personal order of mine in 2021. These are easily the best-looking hot metal blades. Simple, clean, not even a “Mizuno” on them. Ordered the 4i a day or two later and forgot to request a white grip, but all are the same standard size Golf Pride MMCs.

 

 

2. Mizuno Yoro Craft MP-60 irons

Made in Mizuno Japan’s Yoro department for tour and custom clubs, this set features a very cool Twilight dark chrome finish that’s matte instead of shiny. Simple runbird logo, no “MP-60” anywhere. ZERO bag chatter, just minor strike marks on the faces and light brush marks on the soles. All chrome is 100% intact. I believe these are .25" short (Mizuno’s previous standard length). Will include the build sheet—all in Japanese.

 

 

3. Grindworks MC 333 irons

The wildest looking, softest feeling cavity backs I’ve ever found. Heads are forged by Endo from S20C steel with tungsten in the long and mid irons to create some extra trajectory and forgiveness. Extremely tight tolerances, head weights are all within 1g of stated. Highly unlikely you’ll see another set of these at your home course.

 

 

4. PING S55­ irons

3­i–PW (3i and 4i unshafted)

Very, very minimal bag chatter, zero dings, and absolutely no loss of chrome. The 17-4 steel is bombproof, but most S55s in the wild show far more wear than this set. 1-degree upright (blue dot) and standard lofts. All specs checked by PING last fall at the same time they did the new paintfill. If you need any reccos, check out Maltby's Playability Factor or ask Matt Fitzpatrick, Mackenzie Hughes, Stephan Jaeger, Austin Cook or Carlos Ortiz, who all still make a living with them. The only reason I’m selling these is I’m convinced my other set of S55s will never wear out (and PING will still replace a club or two if I lose them in the lake).

 

 

5. Scotty Cameron Newport 2 Studio Stainless putter

Excellent unrestored condition

340g/34"

As close to Tiger’s gamer as Scotty ever made in a non-tour putter. This particular specimen has a smaller-than-pin-head ding on the outside of the flange just left of the flangeline (visible in the first photo, but definitely not at address) and some very light brush marks on the sole, which is presently covered with ghost tape. Apart from that, it’s indistinguishable from new. The head has never been refinished and will come with its original headcover and pivot tool. I replaced the grip with a red Studio Design that’s identical to the original black Studio Design (but far harder to find nowadays). Could be played or displayed with no excuses. 

 

 

6. Scotty Cameron Newport Beach Studio Stainless Asian Spec putter

Mint unrestored condition

340g/34"

With its beach slot and 340g head, this model was only sold in Asia. Any of the extremely fine brush marks on the sole that are too faint to photograph with an iPhone came from the putting mat in my basement because I’m the only owner and it’s never seen living grass. Included are the original unused headcover, pivot tool, and grip. For better or worse, it does feel heavier than 340g.

 

 

7. Golf Pride BCT Red grips

New, never installed

Discontinued after just a year or two, but not before I created a little stash. If I can find the couple navy blue or white ones I got at the same time, I’ll throw them in for free.
