Thanks for your reply, was just looking for thought on if it was too much ball for me. Havent noticed much difference in the way it plays in my game. Was gifted a few dozen.

Feels soft.  Seems to fly well, in the cold weather.  Haven’t tried it in the hot yet. 70° was hottest I’ve played it. But spin is definitely reduced. See plenty of distance and checks just fine for my game.  And I love yellow golf balls.

of those who have played 2022 and 2024....was there any huge notable difference...only thing I could tell was the 2024 seemed a tad softer putting

I've had a chance to do a little chipping side-by-side with the 22 and 24 AVX and the 23 Pro V1.  In terms of spin, from what I could gather in early spring conditions, the Pro V1 spins the most, 24 AVX is next, and 22 AVX is last, but they are all pretty close to each other.  I think I could probably swap them out mid round and not really have any issues.

 

I got to play my second round with the 24 AVX.  This one was also in a tournament, so no comparisons to be done, but for the 16 holes I used it I felt like the ball was performing exactly as I expected in terms of ball flight and carry distances.  I can't really say anything about total distance on tee shots since the course conditions were all over the place.  The cover resiliency was a bit worse than I was expecting, but even after some scuffing I kept playing the same ball just to see how it would perform and I didn't notice any obvious issues.  I'd share pics of the cover, but I hit it OB on 17.

 

I'll keep testing and report back as I learn more, but I think the 22 and 24 AVX are close enough in performance that I don't know if I could tell them apart.

Biggest difference is greenside spin and stopping power. Noticeably different and better vs 2022 version.

Not at all to me.  I’ve been trying the TP5x and AVX and AVX feels soft. Also been using Maxfli Tour S and AVX feels just as good to me
