Did you check the diagnostics? Go to Clubs>click the green wrench on top right>club diagnostics>select your sensor type>scan it and see what results pop up. If nothing, contact Arccos for replacement.

Wasn’t aware of this.   I’ll try.  Thanks

Sure. It’ll work or you’ll get a replacement and it’ll work. Sometimes I think they like the sunlight. Flipping the sensor up and down and letting it sit face down for 15 seconds might help as well. Good light will help if you’re trying to pair somewhere not so bright.

I’ve given mine a good shake once or twice and they start right back up.

Also, bought some seating foam for the bottom of my bag and the sensors are still working 3 years later.

I am SO DISAPPOINTED with the Link Pro, especially considering how expensive it is.

I'm just back from a Pinehurst/NC trip and played 8 rounds so gave it a solid stress test. Gave up with it and went back to phone on round 5. My experience:

- putting tracking doesn't work at all - everything defaults to 15ft/2 putts and is diluting my stats
- it randomly switches off usually mid-round and i won't realise unless i check my phone - have had to input many holes from memory which is frustrating. I lost nearly 9 holes of data on Pinehurst #8. The whole point to the device is not checking phone.
- bluetooth is slow to sync with phone so it's not real-time - I have an iphone 15 Pro so it shouldn't be slow
- lots and lots of missed shots, nearly every hole has a missed shot. no issues with my sensors which work fine with watch/phone tracking
- the flag mark button doesn't work and there's not enough affordance on the button either so you still don't know if you've pushed it or not. This worked much better with the older model

Overall I'm super disappointed with it and will switch back to phone tracking this season which is frustrating, since i was really hoping the link pro would be the distraction-free on-course partner i need, but it feels under-baked and there are clearly a ton of bugs to work through.

I'll also add the plasticky-ness and cheapness of it - it scratches really easily and just feels super cheap. The case LEDs aren't smart. The hinge feels like it'll go within six months.

Basically, they focused on fixing the battery life issue which never really bothered me, and have made the tracking significantly worse.

Customer support told me I needed to turn sound recognition off.  Weird.  Will try that when back from vacation.

You are being very kind with your words!!  My expectations would be the same as yours.  I've been following to see if there would be a benefit over my current link.  I'll keep waiting.  Please keep the feedback coming.

P.s., You said the case feels cheap, from the pictures, it looks like the actual link case is printed.  Is that right?

It's interesting how it performs so differently between people.

I took my Link Pro to the course today for the first time, second season of Arccos, been using the Link Gen 2 up to this point.

The Pro works perfectly for me (left front pocket). I only had to add two or three tap ins post round, which is expected. Other than that it detected every shot, and given that it was kinda windy today that's definitely an upgrade because that's where the old hardware struggled the most for me. The gps also seems to be more accurate.

My experiences have been much closer to MrCook than sifijg. I've played 9 rounds with it now, and it is a LOT more accurate in terms of GPS than the Link Gen2. I see this on drives, approach shots, and then also when marking the flag on the green as well. It's missing a lot less shots than the Gen2 (mostly tap ins, or double shots from the same location) and overall is working well for me. I do still wish it had a clip that I could put on my pants pocket as I think then it would be the most accurate of any Arccos setup. I did also see a firmware update push to the Link Pro recently, so if you're seeing inaccuracy it may be worth checking if that's available (on the activity page after pairing the sensor).

I agree with the other folks that the plastic feels very cheap and nasty compared to the rubberized Gen2. It feels like something a high school shop student would fabricate as their final project, as opposed to a consumer-grade product. The accuracy is there for me, and it is nice not to have to charge it before every round, so it'll stay in the bag for me!

Finally got all clubs to pair once sound recognition was turned off but still have a dud sensor in my driver.  Emailed a screen video to Arccos customer care.  Hopefully they can. Just send out 1 new sensor and I can get started.  My “free trial” ends in two week and I’ve just now got them paired, except for driver.  So I haven’t used them yet.  Looking  forward to it tho.

Keep in contact with Arccos. They can extend your trial, send you extra and replacement sensors, etc. they’re very responsive in my experience.

Got my first round in with the new Link and it wouldn’t pair to start and I went 5 holes with my watch. Tried to handoff to the link but that wouldn’t work. Only back to the phone. Have to start the round with link to get it paired for tracking it seems. It was more annoying than anything. Will try again soon.

They are shipping me a new tag today.  Can’t wait to finally play and try it out to see how many shots it missed. 😂

I just got back from a trip and played 6 rds with the link pro.  I use my apple watch ultra as well during rounds but not for shot detection.

I didnt scrutinize location of shots too much, but in terms of detection it was a massive improvment on using the watch, especially for 1st putts.  I had major issues with the watch picking those up.

I started to use the watch to set pin locations which was a lot easier than using the Link Pro button.

Uh oh.  Hope the Apple Watch Ultra works well for me.  Hoping to get my first round using all clubs this week.  Arccos just sent me the replacement tags for the dead tags this week so I haven’t tried a round yet.

Guys with Apple Watch Ultras, how do you mark the pin?

had my maiden voyage today with Arccos and it was….a mixed bag.  First the putter tag fell off during the first three holes.  Need a glue on solution. Lost it already.   Kinda ticks me off.

I definitely fumbled with it too much this first time out.  On the first hole I had a 5’ birdie putt and the mark pin popped up on my watch.  No clue what I pushed to get it there but never again for 17 more holes did the mark pin button reappear not could I find it on the watch.   Was this because the putter tag was lost?  Had kinda a hard time figuring out the going to next hole and noticing it got my last hole wrong with the putts and trying to fix them and then back to my current hole.   I’m sure the learning curve will be there. But with no putter tag and no mark pin button, I was frustrated.

I ended up gluing the putter sensor in place last year, because it kept coming loose (the hole at the end of my putter grip was probably a bit worn). Fortunately, I never lost it, but it was a pain until I did that.

Yeah I got that on the first hole. Then never saw it again.   I swiped and swiped and swiped. Tapped each screen. Nothing.

Email Arccos and ask them to confirm your greens. It’s intended to pop up when you’re on the green. Never had a problem with that specific feature before. The only time it won’t pop is if it is already set and then you’d see a flag with a green check mark.

Something I don’t know but have wondered in the past is if multiple people are playing with Arccos at the same course in the same day, does the flag get set by one for all…

Yes, if someone using Arccos has already played that day and marked the pins it won’t ask for it from you.

New day, new update:

Got to sneak in 9 this afternoon. Ran out of the house so fast I left my watch home. So, I was with the Link Pro v2. Pairing was seamless and seemed more reliable than when the watch is involved.

It missed several shots that needed to be cleaned up after holes. I suspect this is because I had something else in my lead pocket, which is a dilemma. This doesn’t have even the option of a clip like my v1 Link.

I wrote to arccos to request a return. I need to try it with an empty pocket and no watch, to give it a fair last chance. What was nice is that I had the device on me and it was in its charging case, ready for the round. That’s not something v1 could do. I recharged that regularly.

That sucks man, I use the AW 8 45mm for arcoss and i've not ever dealt with those types of issues, I was considering grabbing the pro so I didn't have to worry about battery life on my watch but this is a bad look.
