Cobra Forged One Length (2017 Model Still using and Loving)

Hi Everyone,

Just wanted to drop a line and see who's still gaming some OL irons.

I know they get a lot of stick but I've been gaming my original forged OL ions on and off since 17" and my current set up (5h , 6,8,W,G,56) is possibly my favourite as I embrace that minimalist set up.

The only clubs I have that aren't that length are my Driver and Putter.

OL and a minimalist set ? I see you off sitting by yourself while the cool kids play with their TM, Callaway and Titleist clubs. I'll join you for lunch now....

Been playing the 2020 Forged Tec OL for a few years and this will be the last year as they are high mileage (300+ rds). Probably going with AeroJets or newer in 2025. Set up is driver, putter, standard length 5-6 irons, 7-GW OL and a Vokey SW. Recoil shafts and Tour Velvet grips. ☺

I have a set of 6-G F7 One length that come out from time to time. They usually come out after a really bad round and they are going to be in play next time I play, lol.

Ye ditto that. Absolutely love the spanking those new Ai boys with 8 clubs then going back to my bench 🤓

My bag is driver, 3 variable length hybrids, then 5-LW Forged Tec 2022.

I just picked up a 6-pw of the original king forged ones for 270 bucks that I might do something with.

My kids playing the one length junior irons too.

I'm on my third set of Cobra one length irons, but I ditched the strict adherence to a single length and wish I'd done it sooner. I play a single length for 5-9, an inch and change shorter for all wedges (also went from Snakebite to Vokey), and an inch longer for 4iron. Much easier (at least for me) to flight to flight the shorter wedges, and the swings were already different anyway. The 4 iron I just needed more of a gap from 5 iron without swinging out of my shoes.

I just built up my OG Forged Tecs last night into original shaft, planning to sell them, feel too hot for me and i'm not so comfrtable with their 'huge' sole.

Converted some Forged MB's also into a one length set, but they're not optimal in the longer irons.

Experimenting now to find a good shaft for Edel SMS Pro's. Testing an AXIOM, MMT, TRAVIL and should have some Rogue RIP SLT coming soon. Availability is going to be difficult.
