I am the same way OP as you. I can try on 20 pairs and hate them all. Only shoe I really liked was the FJ Hyperflex from like 5 years ago when they came out but with the new Hyperflex Carbon they have been a game changer! I have two pairs I bought immediately after trying on last year and will buy another pair or two in the spring! Top notch and I can wear them all day!!

I'm in the same boat. Can't find a shoe that doesn't cause blisters. Premieres, Gallivanters, HyperFlex, '22 Tour 360, older Nike Victory Tour. The only shoe I've tried that doesn't rub my heel or my toes are the Ecco H4, but they pinch in at the midfoot and hurt the outside of my foot. 

 

It is a struggle.

If you have wide feet check out Truelinks Wear. Some of their shoes are zero-drop though if you aren't used to that
