Junior shafts questions: Ping Prodi-G White stripe shafts vs Flynn Alto vs Flynn Velocity

Hello all, I've got a question for you fellas who have gone through this. I just picked up a set of used Ping Prodi-G irons 6-SW. They are currently shafted with the stiffer green strip shafts and for someone in the 11-12 range. My daughter is 8-years-old so I'll need to swap shafts (Ping re-shaft option already used).

My question here is do any of you have an opinion on which of the three shafts I've listed, Ping Prodi-G White stripe shafts vs Flynn Alto vs Flynn Velocity, I should consider. My 8-year-old is strong but short. She's currently playing a set of US kids TS 51" but she's choking down quite a bit. Realistically she should be in a UL48" as far as length goes but she doesn't like the UL line and hits the TS line much better. She tried a friends Prodi-g and was hooked on those (even though she had to choke down even more).

If any of you have any insight/opinions it would be greatly appreciated. Also, if you have any of the above listed shaft sets laying around hit me up.

Cant give a recommendation on these shafts, but would suggest you consider just ordering the one you think is best and try it in one club. For $15-30 bucks (drop in the bucket relative to overall costs of junior golf), it was worth settling the issue in my overanalytical mind....rather than do a whole set and then second guess for a year. Plus your kid would probably enjoy "trialing" the different options.

I would just grab a set of the Flynn alto shafts. my daughter has been playing those since 8yo and recently upgraded to new Flynn irons w the same shafts. Their driver and fw shafts are also great for throwing into OEM driver heads.

Flynn...solid shafts and good company to work with.

This is tricky because you can’t just buy the white Ping shaft unless u buy a club and take the shaft from there. We experimented with the Flynn and thought those were whippiest while the Ping white is stiffest. Our coach thought Pings were the best having coached someone my son’s age to top 15-16 YO in country. I personally think US Kids shaft with Ping would be best but I don’t feel the need to do more experimenting.

Thanks everyone for the input. If I could find a used set of the ping white stripes I’d go that route but those may be hard to come by. I’m thinking going the Flynn route is my only option for now.
