Thoughts

I am 100% a club whore like most of us in these forums. From always swapping heads and shafts I decided I would get fit and try to play the same clubs for the next 3 years. I decided to not get fit for woods this season but may look into it, currently my wood set up has great gapping and allows me to play a variety of shots off the tee and off the deck.

The irons shafts I was fit into were the Axiom 125x and x100. The Axiom had a tighter dispersion than the x100 but it was minimal so the upcharge didn't make sense.  I love the way these clubs felt, very consistent distance and spin made them very playable to shot shape.

For the wedges I have always played a 50, 55 and 60 set up. I debated even playing a 46 instead of a PW but ultimately just decided on the set PW for forgiveness and also to stop myself from getting too crazy with my shot ideas. The HiToe will be a new addition for me as I've never played a full face wedge but I am excited to see how it will elevate my game.

I will update with club photos once they arrive!

Love the setup, very similar to mine. I need to try out the HZRDUS Hulk shafts, the stock HZRDUS blue in my driver is only hanging in there because of the cost of a replacement. The HT lob wedge makes a huge difference, granted it isn't ideal for full shots, but the forgiveness you get on those 20 yard, open face, creative shots (chef's kiss). Looking forward to the club photos!

I had the HZRDUS Black in my previous driver and wasn't in love with it. I also have a Ventus Black 7x that I played in my mini driver and it felt miles better. I will say there is a noticeable difference between the x stiff Hulk and the TX Hulk. Two different feels imo!

For me, I need something that is ANTI-left. Crazy coming from a former baseball player that used to have a 100 yard slice, but I need something that can give me a 10-20 yard cut every time. This HZRDUS Blue loves to throw a hook in there at least once a round. So you would recommend the TX over the 6.5 in the Hulk?

Obviously everyone gets fit for different things, anti left I find the LS heads + the TX definitely takes left out of play for myself. I prefer to see the right side of the course so it works for me, you'd have to try one out for yourself to truly know BUT from my experience yes.

They were so great out on the course. The shot shaping and forgiveness are outstanding. Couldn't recommend them more !

Love to hear it. I still play a set of the V4 Forged and have a set of Staff model CB heads that I haven’t used yet. That forged CB family has been such a solid line for them for over a decade now

I wish they did more marketing to get over the hate towards the brand. Getting some YouTube golfers should help that and have more people playing Wilson

For me it's overall feel, I also prefer the shape of the heads. I'm not usually a chrome guy but on these it does it for me. Just for my eye they are more appealing.

That's fair, always heard good things with the Wilson's the latest are just too shiny for me. But hope they perform well.

I have played now a few rounds here in the GTA at Turnberry which is a Doug Carrick designed track. It's mainly par 3s with the exception of two par 4s. Excellent for short game practice as this course is no slouch and if you are in the area, you should definitely check it out.

The Wilson ZM wedges have been a great addition to the bag. My feel even with the x100 shafts in them has been outstanding, and the HiToe offering in the 60 degree has really changed the game for me around the greens being comfortable behind the ball.

The Staff Model CB's are one of the better irons I have played. Offering forgiveness at a much smaller profile. I didn't see much difference in size while looking down at the CB vs the MB but overall I am happy with my choice in the CBs.

I have taken out the x100 in my DynaPower Forged 3 iron and put in a Ventus Blue 9X Velocore. Have only used it a handful of times are the range was closed for maintenance but from what I can say the ball is easy to launch with this head and shaft combo.

I have always loved JDM clubs, mainly Miuras. I was curious about the top of the bag market for JDM clubs so I actually ordered a Bridgestone B1 LS 9° driver head and a Bridgestone B1 ST 15° wood. My spin numbers with the Rogue ST LS TD are around 2400-2600, so I'm interested the see what this new driver brings to the table. The 3W will be interesting as I play right now a 16.5° Rogue ST LS. The Bridgestone ST has been a wood head I've been intrigued with for quite some time since I saw it on SMS Tour's instagram.

I'll provide photos when they arrive and get them shafted up. The driver will go on my Hzrdus Hulk 6.5 as the TX is in my gamer. And the 3W will go into a Ventus Black 7x velocore.

Man I absolutely love my staff cb’s.  I have the previous model, but they are hard to get out of the bag.  The ZM wedges have my attention as well.  They look awesome!

Really intrigued to hear more about the Bridgestone woods as well once you get a few rounds in them.  Been a Bridgestone fan for a long time!

Great looking gear!

The staff CB's are actually incredible. Played in 50km winds today and the control you have with them is awesome.

Still waiting to find a driver shaft for the Bridgestone but have a Ventus Black waiting for the wood.

I really hate all fo you Wilson guys....because every single time I see the CB or MB's, I start reaching for the credit card.....

Seriously though, incredible looking set! Have you gotten any in with that Driver and 3 wood? The face on those seem interesting, would be curious on your thoughts on them
