Titleist T150 vs

I currently play Srixon ZX5 MKii and I have an itch pick up another set of irons.
 

I know that T150 compares more directly to ZX7, but thought I’d see if anyone could offer a real world comparison between the two. 
It’s easy to look good on a sim, but curious how these two compare in the wild. 
 

I assume that ZX5 is a little longer and probably a bit more forgiving, but would appreciate any feedback.

Have T150s in the bag at home, but playing ZX5s as a rental set this week in Portugal.  Never played Srixon before.  While the ZX5s are bigger, but not grossly so, and spin a little more than I want (blame the shaft), they are silly easy to hit.  Sometimes I wonder... Why am I making it so hard on myself???

 

T150s may offer you a more desired ballflight and better precision, but at what cost?

They are two totally different Irons as it relates to turf interaction so you better hit them off of the turf you typically play. The T150 has a much thinner sole and smaller head so that's another big determining factor. I don't get along with thick soled irons and I tried the ZX5 AND ZX5 MK II and it was a short experiment. The last word is no matter what you decide expect a honeymoon phase and then a learning curve stage where you better not have the old clubs to fall back on or you will be jumping back and forth. 🙂

I play Z785's. I loved the T150's when I demoed them. I hated the ZX5's. As others have said, either you like the thicker sole or you don't.

T150’s should arrive this week to replace a ZX5/7 combo set. ZX5 is a great club and should be a little longer and more forgiving than T150. 
 

I’m switching to T150 for better spin and turf interaction. I just hit thinner soles better.

T150 didn't feel good to me. They felt harsh. Performance had no issues but was slightly worse the the Cobras. Cobra KT felt so much better and had great dispersion for me.

Ive only hit in store but t150 felt great to me. Soft and fast but with just enough amount of click i like. And looking down on it is amazing. Zk5 felt also again soft and just enough click with speed but the 150 edges it in feel and look overall to me. The best part was that for the 150 being the smaller head it was flying 5 yards more carry more often and misshits didnt drop off that much at all.
