The iconic sandwiches and concessions at the Masters have become a timeless tradition. And now, you can recreate the legendary Masters food experience at home with hosting kits on Goldbelly – perfect for the ultimate watch party!

Initial thoughts of the Taste of the Masters and Ratings:

 

Barbecue Chips - 3 out of 5

Standard Crisps.  Not too salty but nothing that stands out.  

Kettle Chips - 3 out of 5

Similar to the BBQ Chips, nothing special but average.

 

Egg Salad Sandwich - 4 out of 5

Light, airy, smooth.

Pimento Cheese - 4 out of 5

Not overpowering, balanced, warmer the spread, the. better.

BBQ - 3 out of 5

Texture a little too smooth, taste is good.  Sloppy joe/manwhich vibes.

Christie Cookie 3 out of 5

Soft, a little sweet.

 

Corks Georgia Pecan Caramel Popcorn 5 out of 5

Home run on balance, freshness and taste.

 

Would love to hear how others rate their kits and watch party menus.  Would also be curious how close the cold packers are to the onsite food comparisons.  Overall a fairly enjoyable menu and could see how this adds to the watch party experience of 1 to thousands.

Did it the first year.  The caramel corn was the star, with the BBQ close behind. The pimento cheese wasn’t as good as at the tourney but didn’t last long. It was fun but haven’t since. 
 

This year as usual - homemade pimento cheese sandwiches in green sandwich wrap, chips and caramel corn, Coke, iced tea and my wife makes peach ice cream sandwiches out of peach ice cream and homemade snickerdoodles. 
 

We wait until Saturday to partake sometime after a hearty brunch. A feast like no other.

Love the ingredient listings for the dim-witted (like me): egg salad contains eggs, pork BBQ contains pork, pimento cheese contains cheese & pimentos.

Mine arrived Thursday afternoon. Having a couple friends over and their wives today to sample it.

I played in a tournament today, and at the end of the round in the clubhouse was a buffet set up of bbq sandwiches, pimento cheese, egg salad, ham and cheese and chips. Quite a nice surprise after the tourney. Won a little money too. 🙂
