TM Qi10 Fairway - playing shorter length

Curious if anyone is playing the new Qi10 Fairways (or Stealth and Stealth 2) at shorter than standard lengths? If so, how are you adjusting swing weights?

 

Standard length for the 3W is 43.25" I started playing the 3W at 42.5" years ago and found it much easier to hit consistently. However, the Qi10 doesn't have any weights or screws that can be replaced to add weight to the clubhead. Is the only choice to add hot melt inside the head? Anyone have other ideas?

I’m playing the stealth 2 fairway at 0.5 short. I did not do anything to adjust for SW but it feels good. Without weights, you will have to use hot melt or tape.

I play all my fairways shorter than stock -  3wd's = 42.5".

 

It's always better to adjust head weight by feel on the range with some lead tape.  Hot melt isn't the greatest since it's a PITA to remove if you change your mind and think you added too much.

 

Forget the idea of trying to "keep" or "get back" the stock swing weight values.   You weren't fit for them and there is nothing special about the stock swing weight values.   So figuring it out on the range is always the way to go and forget the idea about using any of the swing weight "rules".

My 3 metal has always been 42.75 to 43 inches.  I find myself having to adding a bit of lead tape or hot melt to the sole to get the swing weight up to D5.
