I'm not a Ping guy. How come his driver is all black without the yellow? Is this a blackout version, or a different model completely?

It’s a g425. The model with greenish yellow is its successor, the g430

Wonder if the 2 drivers are the same and 1 is a backup or if one of tipped more than the other. I know in past years he was using an X flex tipped 1' and then he moved to the TX. I recall reading an article as well where they talked about removing the tipping on his TX model to increase launch and spin a bit.

I was trying to find a visual difference myself

Did he recently switch to the TR Black in 3 metal?  It's odd to see the opposite of what most elite players do which is go with something very linear and stout in driver then something softer and higher launching/spinning in 3/4 metal.  Looks like Vik's reversed the trend.  Speeder TR has a little kick to it and launches higher and spins more than TR Black.  Whatever works I suppose.

Yeah he's been flipping around in recent years with shafts in the Driver/3w spot. Traditionally he had been stout/linear in the driver and more bendy in the 3w going back to his OG HZRDUS Black/Tensei Blue Driver/3W combo. The Speeder TR took over the driver spot a while back while back and the Ventus Blue had been in the 3w for awhile, but he's flip flopped with the driver a few times, occasionally playing the Ventus Blue in there too only to switch back to the Speeder TR and then flipping between X and TX flex. 

As for the 3w, the Qi10 standard model is the bigger departure for him as it's spinnier than the higher lofted Ti fairways he'd been playing for ages in the OG SIM and Stealth+ 16.5 models that he also often lofted up. He was effectively playing really hot 5-woods in how those clubs were set which makes sense for his lower lofted delivery. I imagine that the TR Black is used to reduce launch/spin slightly as kind of a flipped version of what he had previously, basically going from "high lofted/low spin head + mid spin shaft" to "lower lofted/higher spinning head + low spin shaft". The hosel looks like it had some bend marks on it as well so it's likely been tweaker for him in come capacity.

I wonder if Ping is still making I-210’s fro him, or whether he’s just using up old stock?

Maybe just a total length difference? One looks marginally shorter than the other sitting in the bag

Those pings are cast and wear like iron.  I had 100 plus rounds on a set is less that tour conditions and they looked new.

I’ve got about 150 rounds on my old i210s and they don’t look anything close to new.  They look shredded.  Same thing with my i230s; they seem to show every round like wrinkles on an old man’s face.  I love both clubs, but Pings have a well earned reputation for scarring easily and mine have been no different.  I also notice that his i210s get surface rust in the same place as mine.  My 230s probably have close to 200 rounds on them and I’ve considered replacing them purely for cosmetic reasons, but seems like a waste of money.

Interesting.  I didn’t baby them and the person who bought commented I must not have used them much 🤷🏼‍♂️

Viktors PLD is one of my favorite on tour - super pumped to see him turn around his season at the PGA.

When I bought mine, the reviews out there all said that one of the negatives was that they mark easily.  Mine sure did.  I also had to constantly sand surface rust out of the seams on the back.  Still, awesome clubs that I still use as my backup in my Sunday bag. I tried to get Ping to sell me another full set of the i210’s during the changeover, but they refused.
