Heading there in 2 weeks...which course to play?

Anyone played the courses at Ginn Reunion Resort? We are heading there in a couple weeks and I would like to play one day. which of the three courses is a 'can't miss?' i am a ~10 handicap and would like a good challenge. from what i have read, the watson independence course is great. the LPGA played 9 of the palmer course and 9 of the watson.

all 3 are great tracks ,jacks course is 1 year old i would wait for it to mature. Watsons ,i liked the best ,i feel its more challenging then arnolds but all three are great....................

I haven't played the Nicklaus course as they were just finishing it when I stayed at Reunion a copuple of years ago. I've played the Palmer and Watson courses twice each and liked them both a lot. I did like one a little better than the other, but don't remember which one it was. It was the one with a tee shot with a long carry over water. Sorry I can't be more help. You won't be disappointed in either one. The service at Reunion is fantastic. They treat you like royalty.

Quick question, we are of to Orlando later this year and was looking to play on Reunion.

Do you have to stay in the resort to be able to play these 3 courses?

Yes you must stay there to play. That is the policy at all GINN properties. Their charter is set up for their members and resort guests. I played all three courses at Reunion last year; loved the Nicklaus and Palmer course, did not like the Watson course. They have very nice facilities, but I'm real tired of $100+ courses that are not even ranked in anybody's top 100, and yet have exclusive stay to play rules. There are just too many other places to go that don't require that nonsense...like this place just down the street from Reunion called Champion's Gate. Greg Norman design with two courses and open to anyone who wants to play. They have quite a few play all day deals too.

i played there this year and played all 3 courses. i especially liked the nicklaus course (the new one) it is more of a long drive with water around the greens type of course which i like. they are all great though.
