Wow, this would be great news, it is the first that I have heard of it. I was just scrambling to find a iron-like hybrid to replace my 503H, and I think this is the one that I'm looking for. Now doubt about it, but can anyone confirm?

I wonder if your pro is confusing the 503i with the 503U??? Titleist is definitely coming out with the 503U, so I find it surprising that they would also offer the 503i...introducing 2 new hybrids at the same time doesn't fit the mold of Titleist thinking. But then again, you never know!

503U is coming out in the spring. The 503i is not coming to retail yet and the F3-05 will be similar to the 970. Tour only.

 

The 503i has not gotten the feedback they wanted from the tour and is not in the plans for 06 at all. Trust me I wish it was coming out. I would have one in two seconds.

I wasn't doubting you I was just thinking maybe that you were confusing the 503i which is the Iron-Like Utility club, and the 503U, also known as the 585H, which is the more wood-like hybrid. That would be great news if it did come out, this is just the first news of such that we have heard, we have known for a little bit that the 2006 line up will be: 905R, 585H, 695's, 660's, Oil-Can Spin Milled, Circa's...

Titleist is very unpredictable, you never really know for sure what they are releasing until they actually release it. I took all the new Titleist clubs to a local golfshop, which happens to be one of the #1 private shops in the country and the people there did not know anything about any of the new equipment, the Titleist ball rep happened to be there and he had not seen or heard of any of the new stuff either.

 

Titleist is very hush hush about their equipment, they always have been and i would imagine will continue to be.

 

I have been told, ( take it for what you like) the 503i will not be retail, it is not designed for the masses, Titleist does not really get into the game improvement clubs, they are for better players and thats just the way it has always been, the 660 will probably not launch until later as not to interfere with the 695 sales, same for F3-05, probably not go retail, made fro the better player, Titleist is supposed to release a different club for the general public. Again this is some of the info i have been given, and is always subject to change, all i can say is i am waiting to see what really gets released.

 

I hope that i have confused everyone even more.

Hey browder it's jer jer. I saw some other stuff online that said it was going to come out. The person wasn't sure if it necessarily was going to come out in the spring, but was sure it was going to come out. Maybe like summer or something. Hopefully spring. Do you know what time the golf show is on Sat.? I SO WANT THE 695 CB'S NOW! I still kinda want MP-30's though. I don't want a combo set though. Have you seen all the pics? If you scroll through the "tour info and equipment" pages there are like a thousand! Looks like Titleist is going to have a great 06 lineup! :birthday: :birthday:
