It's pretty hard to not think of ones that don't have those little sexual innuendo's. Plus being in the military doesn't really help either, the ones we have are the best but not exactly HS Womens Golf appropriate.

 

I did like "Our Handicaps are lower than your GPA" or "I'm beautiful and you're still away", that one is very Hogan-esque.

A co-worker of mine has a daughter on a high school team.

They do slogans each year as well for their team t-shirts.

Last year the school AD wouldn't allow the slogan they picked;

"______ HS Girls Varsity Golf - we know how to get the ball in the hole"

 

So they went with " We traded our handbags for golfbags and are shopping for birdies"

my brother's high school team had the best team t-shirts ever..

 

 

while the guys were out on the course practicing and/or playing in tournaments......their coach/music teacher would troll the nearby fields for golf balls instead of actually coaching. so one of the players who happened to be on yearbook staff stashed his camera in his golf bag and snapped a photo of him bending over to retrieve a ball.

 

he had a rather large back side....

 

front of the t-shirt says.... ____ ____ Boys Golf

 

back of the t-shirt has a huge photo of Coach's arse with the words "Kicks Word not allowed"

Sorry, I have nothing additional, but my favorites so far are:

 

1. "If you can read this you're still away"

2. Something along the lines of the "Rainbows, butterflies and I win 3 & 2" ... I like the "I really am a sweet girl ... but I just kicked your butt" sound to it, maybe adapt with a some sort of "sugar and spice and all things nice ..." sort of comment

3. "These girls are good" is pretty cool too, if you could adapt the PGA logo (maybe with your school's colors, maybe put a pony tail and a skirt on the player in the logo)

So, I am that guy who would snicker and grin at all of the innuendo and double entendre in certain slogans. Beyond that I would suggest much worse than has been posted and think nothing of it. Then I had two daughters. They are still very young, but its amazing how this begins to change your perspective and what I notice and think about now that I never concerned myself with before. One prevalent issue that disturbs me is the over-sexualization of girls at younger and younger ages. It scares me to think that someone out there actually believes its appropriate for a 15 year old to be walking around with a t-shirt describing (with a wink and nudge) her willingness or ability to engage in sexual activity. While I'm sure most of those posting here mean this only as a harmless joke the fact that the joke is acceptable communicates something about the underlying level of respect we have for each other and the personal value we place (as society as whole and men in particular) on women. I do not want to overly shelter my girls. I know they will make their own choices as they grow up and become women, but I sure hope they can escape or ignore the omnipresent message that their value is somehow inextricably connected to their sexuality.

 

So I'll try not to trip climbing down off of my soap box. I don't want to sound "holier-than-thou", just thought I'd throw something out there that was on my mind. I'll try to stay more "on topic" from now on.
