Soutern Dunes

The winner of the competition an recipient of a putter from Lamont was Oneputtblunder. kvnhlstd carded 26 for the 1st 6 holes, ckguy carded 25 for holes 7-12 and oneputtblunder carded 29 for his final 6 holes and pulled off the victory by 1 stroke over ckguy.

ckguy was the winner of the Dbacks tix in the random skin draw with a birdie on the par 5 #3 hole.

sigh and superT were the only two players to par the monster par 3 playing 243 from the tips.

Had an awesome time! A pleasure meeting all you guys and I look forward to doing it again!

Super T's par on #6 was impressive. His tee shot ended on top of the mound behind the back bunker, facing a downhill shot to a short sided pin and a green that sloped steeply away on all sides. A perfectly executed soft lob to keep the ball on the green and a nicely rolled 15 footer canned for the par. Well done!

Had a great time, Thanks again for putting this on...We need to do this more often this summer. Since Ckguy and I carried OnePutt for two thirds of the round, I think we should share custody of that sweet flatstick. Kidding...

Was fun. Honestly I am shocked I kept it under 100 with the way I was swinging.. I didn't hit a fairway until like #15.

I could par the ridiculously long par 3.. just not hit a fairway. Although I will say you give us too much credit, the tee's I played (and I think all but matt's group played) had the hole playing at about 220.

All in all a great time looking forward to the next one! I was a bit dissapointed in my 83. I felt like I played much better than that all day execpt for those 3-4 tee shots that really got away from me. Thank god for the sand saves though.

That is quite possibly the truest statement ever written on here :D We all know the driver is going very soon followed by the 3wd. Although That sunset beach is one dang nice putter. My eyes just cant get used to the plumbers neck.
