You know, snide comments like that are what really turns me off to the Scotty Haters. The way you guys treat people is shameful. Telling him that his comments are worthless and that you stopped reading his posts. We're all golfers. Arguing the merits of a putter's performance is one thing, but you guys attack the character of the poster, manufacturer, designer.

 

Imagine how absurd it would be for me to claim that I would never buy a Machine putter because I think the owner is dishonest and greedy. And then proceed to attack the posters who came to his defense with demeaning comments about their profession, personal lives etc. And then mock the owner of Machine Putters with a term like "Kool Aid" that likens his customers to sheep who follow the demands of a mass murderer. Or maybe imply that he's gay. Or modify a photo of his face onto the body of Hitler.

The guy has (repeatedly) said he would no longer post no matter what because he was getting sick of it. I called him out on that not on any other of his comments. All his last posts have been in that tone, yet he keeps coming back. You don't have a comment for that?

Kool Aid ...search all my posts in all forums. I'm not a fan of the KoolAid term as well. So why bring it up to me? Do your checking before you attribute statements to some please. In fact if you search the Bett forum in PT I have voiced my displeasure over some of the newer headcover designs (sometime in the late 08 period IIRC). Not a single person flamed me, it was just discussed.

I don't think anybody would say anything about the owner of machine because he is an honest business man and as far as I'm concerned hasn't stamped any 1/5 when there were more, Machine doesn't have a "Kool Aid" following, that's not Hitler, you're using the Cameron Haters insult because you have nothing else to say and no facts to offer, and you're still posting regardless of what you said.

The Administrator and Moderators need a reason to ban someone? They are free to mold TCC into the fansite they wish. With respects, the site is a joke compared to where it used to be. There is no room for free discussion pertaining to critical thinking and opinion when it comes to Cameron and his products. TCC has become an incestuous site where only the love of Cameron (and products) is allowed to be spoken. TCC reminds me of Pravda during the old Soviet Union rule.

I have no idea, and it's not that big of a deal to me either way. I don't even like the Classic Mini putter and I wouldn't buy one if it only cost $100. But if it's that big of an issue for you, email the webmaster and ask why there is a discrepancy.
