Appears to you?

It was a best seller in 1990's, but in dispute with publisher, the author stopped publication.
BS - if it was a best seller, why not pick up another publisher ? More thread pollution ....
You keep talking about things wasting space, you have no knowledge of, sir.
Total conjecture/BS. The real story is none of your fn business.
It's everyone's business when you pollute every thread you post in with some nonsense from some obscure book. Sir ...
why a publisher stopped publishing a book, you make a point of here?

the thread is tilting and handpath.

You intend to thread jack.. well done, now bugger off.

Figured this thread was worthy of a bump. I know from lessons with Dan I need to do this but find it so hard. Had a front 9 shocker today so gave it a real go on the back 9, hit some of the longest high draws I've ever hit, a few pushes but hitting from the inside for the first time ever, need to persevere with this I think.

Here is a good before and after photo from today. HUGE difference in ballflight. Shot a 38 on the back nine (was averaging around 100).

Dan - just catching up here. :) The guy in the white tee shirt amazes me. The hands at the top on both pictures looks "slightly" different BUT the second and third pictures look miles better in the After. Explain again, how you get to the top with a slight different but make such an impactful improvement on the way down?

Path of right shoulder and it's affect on the arms.

Was the path of the right shoulder what you had him concentrating on or was it a byproduct of the move you asked him to make?

Reading this whole thread, a very good one btw, i highlighted the statement that jumped out and would benefit most.

**"Hands move around the body in a circle. To keep the arms on the ribcage and moving in a circle the space between the right elbow and the body should remain constant. This eliminates the lift and in conjunction with a steeper shoulder turn keeps the arms in and low. This increases potential for distance as well as making it easier to hit the ball from the inside."**

Ping G410+ Tensei Orange Pro.

Mizuno GT180 shaft as above.

Adams 3H  Aldila Blue.

Wilson FG100 4i-PW.

Wilson PMP 52/56/60

Putters....too many.

I am so glad I found this thread. I've spent the last 12 months trying to correct my fade (in shorter clubs) and slice (in longer clubs) to no avail and this included getting lessons from 2 different instructors and also paying for some online stuff as well. After reading this thread and looking at videos from my last lesson I could immediately see how flat my shoulder turn was (it looked like I was side-bending to the right at top of backswing) which would would result in me coming down over plane in a typical throw right shoulder out OTT move. I'm not sure why, but in my head I had the concept that the club head literally moved back down the target line away from the ball on the takeaway which is where I think everything went wrong for me.

Turning my shoulders more vertically has made my hands get deeper and infront of my right shoulder on the backswing and from this position it feels almost natural to want to shift left and come from a shallower, more inside path. My shots now are almost bordering on a push draw with a more piercing trajectory compared to the balloons I was hitting before and the sound/feel at impact is much more powerful. I can now also hit my driver without having to try and agressively close the face through impact to avoid the big banana slice. I did need to make some setup adjustments to make this work better for me which were to weaken my overly strong grip and have the ball a little further forward in my stance. I also needed to let go of my old bicep flex at the top of my swing so now the right elbow doesn't bend as much, it's probably just short of getting to 90 degrees.

Your stuff is still helping people more than a decade later iteach, thank you!
