I am for sure in for that! Weather is supposed to be nice this weekend and next, but after that who knows... snow?! Its Chicago I dont doubt it!

Does the "Hammer" hold up against the other big boys: Taylor Made/Cobra/Cleveland, etc?

Hey, I'm left-handed, but I once finished second in a long drive contest by taking a right handed club and grounding the toe.

 

If I did that with the Hammer, would it cause an earthquake in China?

I just received the Hammer yesterday. It is in Greensboro, North Carolina.

I am going to try to get to the range today or tomorrow. Unfortunatley, I will not be able to play a round for the next couple of weeks (mixture of weather and I am in the process of moving).

I will post a review after I get a session on the range with it...I'm real excited about trying it out...

By the way...who am I sending it to when I am done?

I am certain that after one Range session, you will find the time to shoot an 18 by driving it into every hole,,, pOOOOWWWWWW!!!! Please remember however that the hammer goes a minimum of 300 yards even when swung with a putting stroke so you will have to back up significantly on par 3's.

I think we're going to send it to the West Coast now and work our way back to the East.. The next stop should be to Arizona for the WRX Jan 10th event. I say there should be a designated hole where everyone has to use the Hammer for the drive and then the last group brings it in... This is going to be awesome

No jlam is the owner of the club and in this case the keeper of the list. When you recieve the hammer you pm him to get he next destination address.

Yea, it's been disappointing in the reviews so far as no one has posted YET. The club was with someone for over a month and it just sat there as he was studying for an exam. But now it's in NC and hopefully he'll have some pics and review soon. And then after that, it's going to AZ for the WRX Jan 10th tournament...THAT would be the venue for the Hammer Launch.. ARRRRGGGHGHHHHHHHHHH

By the way, I wanted to see if you guys have an input as to which gadget/gimmick club we should try next and debunk..... you know, our 2010 experiment.

That will make me regret even more my inability to be in Arizona that weekend.

The next gimmick club I would like to see tested is a good question.

I have noticed the powerbilt Airforce 1 is down in the $100 range on some sites.


The reason we haven't seen any pictures or reviews is because the first person who got it sat on it for 2 months. It has only made it to the 2nd person so hopefully we will start to see some good stuff. My wife and I are going to shoot a short film with it when it is our turn.

Glad to see the club is moving again JLam. For me and Coldsoul (and one other 'Toban), we won't be able to use it until May. If it comes to us last in North America, I noticed we had an English volunteer that I would pay to ship it to (maybe the other guys will chip in).

Funny enough, this almost seems to be turning from a Hammer experiment into a golf networking exercise.

Let me know when it gets down here around Austin! I was told that I could use it on the 1st tee at my course and the average drive would land on the 5th green! I figure this is going to cut my handicap down really nicely!

Ok, I just saw this thread and have to get into this. What a chance to find out all my lessons were pointless when all I needed was this magic club! Heck, I could even be on the tour this year.
