IMO, I like the diablo as it was. The yellow, to me, "cheapens" the look of the club. I'd say the same about the blue on the Nike wedges as well, but that's me. Everyone has their own taste on colors, but you did a great job![/color][/i]

paintfill looks great, awesome job! i've been debating tackling my driver, but haven't got up the nerve yet. You know what i think would look pretty cool, in the FT-9, on those big side areas, instead of jumping from one shade of blue on top, to the next on the bottom. What if you started at the top with your original color, then added a bit of white, and went to the next one, more white to the next, etc. so it gave it a fading effect to the lighter blue rather than the bigger transition? That may be something cool to try, but either way everything looks great!...

I have been thinking about doing paint fill on my clubs but can someone please email me at [email protected] and tell me where to find the needle applicator bottles? The ones that actually have a metal needle coming out of them? Or maybe just what to type as a search on ebay? thanks

i hate the fill on the FT9 far too much. The yellow cheapens the diablo and i ddnt even notice nething on the heavenwood. BUT........the SV's are commendable but overall i dnt like it. Sorry but i have to tell u the facts.

All my clubs have been done with black and yellow to match my Appalachian State head covers, not all of mine look that good, you did a really good job.

Yea, you did a great job, how did you take out the paint?

I used some nail polish remover with acetone and thumbtacks to losen the original paint. Wiped off pretty clean with the NPR and an old towel after that. Taking the old paint out was def the hardest part of the process. Using paint bottles with the dispensing needles made the fill super quick and easy.

Your clubs look GREAT... As for playing the tri-ball I got one for Christmas last year hit it a few times and put it in my spair bag. Never picked it up again. I can not hit off the insert. But your clubs look great and I have the same wedges I might try to do a paint fill on.

I used Tamiya Acrylic Paints. I picked the paint up at a local hobby shop near my condo. I am pretty sure you can get it online directly from their website. The stuff is pretty cheap too.

The SRT Tri-Ball def takes some time to get used to, however, it is a real sick club once figured out. I am thinking about picking up a Scotty C 34" Kombi in the next few weeks so that I have two to choose from depending on how am putting. I will have a few new Tri-Ball pics up in the next day or so.

fill on the wedge looks great! good to know about the rocket tours too, been considering getting one for my fairway wood...you have any recommendations on skinny stick vs. pom? i know they look good, but how do you rate on protection of the actual club? are they thick enough to not worry about chatter from other clubs?

I was skeptical about the same issues as well. I picked up a large pom and a small pom for my Driver and 3W. I also picked up two skinnies for my hybrids. All four covers exceeded my expectations.

They are thick and cover the shafts much lower then normal covers IMO, thus, I have no worries about chatter from my other clubs. I will have pictures up soon so you will be able to see exactly what I'm talking about. Helena at Rocket Tours is awesome too. I think she's the only one who answers if you call them.

I wouldn't hesitate if you are considering them for 2010.
