I don't have the specs yet. But I am assuming they won't be too far off from the current CB-202. These will be standard weights but you can probably order them heavier through your local Miura dealer.

Yes, that would be the spin welding they do for the hosel and the head.

If you are going with the LH CB, you won;t regret it. Get the wedges too. They are sweet. They actually have a black version.

Will this replace the CB-202? It seems similar to the 202 but the cavity seems deeper... kind of like the 102.

I don't think it will replace the CB-202. My apologies for not having more info at this time. Will definitely update you guys when it becomes available.

I have the black wedges in stock. But you would have to speak to your local Miura dealer. I am sure they can arrange it for you easily. I am in Sunny Singapore

Answers to some questions:

- Miura had to get these out before the end of December so they can continue to manufacture them with teh current grooves.
They will also start producing them with the new conforming grooves sometime next year.

- The 501 has slightly more offset than the 202 but not a lot....

- The idea behind the muscle is to make it feel and play more blade like... Miura feels these are a compromise between the 202 and the Blade with more forgiveness

- They will be available retail in the 1st or 2nd week of December.

- These do not replace the 202's it is just a new addition to the Miura line-up.

- I don't think there is another model planned...just new grooves on the current lineup....so every head will be produced with both the current grooves and the new conforming grooves.

My take on the new Groove rule:
- The Conforming grooves are only relevant for Tour Professionals and people qualifying for the "Open" events who make it to regional qualifying.

- All Amature events have until 2014 to change to the conforming grooves

- and for you weekend warriors, people who do local events, scrambles and club events the groove rule does not affect your play.
