How many WRX have $1k bags

My new AP2s put my bag over the mark. Prior to that it was close.

Very cool...I laud you guys who buy used but I see a grand spend is still easily achievable when buying used.

about $2200...not bad..it's all the goodies I have that aren't in the bag that would drive this figure out of sight! But I'm proud to have some used clubs in the bag.

I have easily spent $1K on my bag. Just my driver alone was about $400. Throw in about another $520 for FW and hybrids and I am already over the $900 mark and I haven't even counted irons, wedges, or putter. The irons were probably about $700. Add two wedges totaling about $230 and a putter for about $150, I am closer to $2K than $1K.

 

I was just looking at my Bag and got me thinking how much i have spent on having a set up I like. Im not taken in consideration of retail price but of what i have spend on it on buying my different equipment and im just over $1k for what i have payed for my stuff. This is not considering all the other back-ups have just laying around. I only have a couple items i bought new mostly my bag consist of used clubs. We must really love golf

I don't want to do the math right now, but I guess playing Scratch EZ-1 with UST Mamiya IS900 TOURSPX, Graphite Design Di-6 in the driver, Attas T2 in the FW and Ozik Altus in my hybrids is expensive enough to qualify for the $1K bag club.

Never, ever thought I would -- used to build my own clubs in the 90's, couldn't believe how expensive clubs got when I got back into golf in '09, swore I'd only buy used...

Went, got fit for i20's, R11s, so easily in the $1K+ club. Headed back for 3 wood and hybrid at some point...

Very happy with the sticks right now.

The 14 clubs I'll be using this afternoon are about the least total cost of any full set I've used in quite a while. Somewhere around $710-$720 in the clubs. Of course if you add in the golf bag itself ($145), a couple sleeves of a balls and my little $50 GPS box we're up pushing $950. But still not $1K unless I stick an umbrella and a few more balls in there...

I'm a 6 handi and don't think more expensive clubs would help me that much. I've sharpened all the grooves on the used wedges I got and they all work great!
