Any get their first round in?

I played Bridges this past weekend but n some wicked wind. Testing out my new Nippon Modus 3 125x. I really enjoyed the shafts and was happy to get out out for a round.

The course was in the worst shape I've ever seen it. Lots of burnt fairways and greens were in horrible condition. Must have been a tough winter as I refuse to believe they've slacked on maintenance as it's usually in great shape.

for those of you that have had the privilege to play it, what are your thoughts on the new southwood golf & country club?

 

gotta be the absolute best practice facility in the province.

 

other than quarry oaks i can't even think of another one that is remotely close.

 

i wish they had range memberships.

i'm thinking it might have been a tough winter for a number of courses. i live "nearby" rossmere and i am not sure that all of their greens are going to make a full recovery.

Ya that's been the consensus so far; that's it been a rough weekend noter for all Winnipeg golf courses.
