Very odd that he has his wedge lofts bunched up at 48 & 50. Then a big gap between his 17.5 and 4 iron. I wonder if his actual lofts are adjusted to 47, 51, 55, & 60.

Sean O'Hair hasn't had an easy time with his wedges this season. He has bounced around between different wedges and decided to spend some time working with the TaylorMade reps at the Children's Miracle Network Classic to straighten out his grooves and get a lower ball flight.

Turns out that a new True Temper shaft, the DGI Spinner, combined with a new TaylorMade lob wedge made a big difference for O'Hair. The flex point of the shaft is relatively high, leading to the lower ball flight O'Hair was seeking.

"We built the wedges up and he started his testing at noon on Tuesday. We put him on the launch monitor and he immediately saw what he was looking for," said a TaylorMade representative. "On full shots his average on his competitor wedge was 10,950 rpm and on our setup he averaged 11,800 rpm. He also hit our wedge between 2 and 3 degrees lower with an average carry distance of 4 yards further."

O'Hair's new wedges had a modified "C" grind with heel relief and about 10 degrees of bounce.

I think I read in a Golf Digest WITB a few years ago that Sean usually sticks with cavity backs. You can kinda see the CB's are already in his bag

they are actually the MC's. weird ik right taylormade created the cb's for their high handicap market. i often catch myself talking about the cb's when i mean mc's as well.

[/quote]I believe Tembolo1284 is correct, in the photo's shown he is playing the cavity backs.
