Did Vijay reall switch to the r7 or is he hitting one of his playing partners driver? I have a hard time believing he would switch drivers the week after he won.

Thanks for the great pictures, I can't wait for the 300+ that are coming! If I were to venture a guess, I would think that Vijay is hitting a playing partner's 425 because they did a piece on the Golf Channel yesterday on Vijay and the Comp he is using this week with the Aldila VJ Proto 80X shaft. I wouldn't put it past Vijay to put a TM driver in play this week just to change things up but he seemed pretty up beat about the Comp. Those are gorgeous pictures, too! WOW!

Not sure if VJ did use a playing partners driver, I will have to look through my pics to see who he was playing with. I wasn't paying much attention to his bag, just trying to get into position to get a good picture.

Yesterday, on the Golf Channel, Vijay was saying he'd play his COMP. He was even holding it. That's hillarious.

 

I haven't seen the HiBore commercial in a while!!! I guess we know why!!!

hi all;yes it's funny how often vj is switching drivers this year,but it's his putting that's been the big issue for him this year other than last weeks win at the barclay's.just my thoughts

Some players just like to switch. Larry Nelson has been known to switch putters during the middle of tournaments where he was leading.

I think he's choking down on a 5-wood. The picture of Tiger was taken on #3 which is a par 3 playing around 235 that day.

i went through my pics and VJ was playing with Darren Clarke and Jason Dufner. Dufner is a Titleist guy so it might be possible he was trying out Clarke's driver.
