yes, with backseat down depending on bag it seems.

Hey, that helps. Thanks!

We have a 09 Cooper S and it fits two sets of clubs and two clicgear carts just fine with the back seat folded down.

It's a great car overall with a lot of standard BMW amenities and great mpg at around 34 highway. Also has great handling and torque and is a blast to drive. It's our "big" car compared to our Honda s2000 and Lotus Elise (even that car can fit 1 bag in the pass seat)

Can't believe this thread exists. The BMW Mini is a no no in our club car park unless you wear a skirt.

Ah, I see. Do you make up for your other deficiencies with an Escalade, Hummer, or a Vette?

Careful some of those "skirt" cars, like a little black 05 have some serious bite with 212 hp and a "WORKS" badge. I have never been late for a tee time.

Two staff bags and room for 1 normal human passenger. Really want to see a S with three bags and three people. How many are on the roof. :man_in_love:

I am waiting for the 'Countryman' to come out for my wife. That can fit 4 surfboards apparently.

A buddy of mine has a mini, one weekend we went on a golf/shooting trip. We easily fit 2 sets of clubs and several high end assualt rifles and assorted WW2 guns in cases in the back with the seats down. We had a slightly difficult time explaining all the guns to the officer who pulled us over as my buddy was speeding though.

I'm sure it will hold a full set of ladies clubs.

I am a big car guy and don't find the mini that fun to drive. It all depends on what you are comparing it to I suppose and most who think it is fun or that 212hp makes a car fast simply haven't driven something really fast. Like everything in life, it's all relative. I have owned two sub 11 second cars, an SCCA solo racer, and quite a few other "fun" cars as well as some fun trucks. I say buy what you want and enjoy it, but don't expect everyone else to agree with your purchase.

Some of do though. My toy is a Shelby replica. Spent 8 years racing at National level SCCA as well as a SCCA and PCA instructor. Also had some exceptionally fast drag cars early on. 212 hp does make a mini fast given its handling and in experienced hands. Even better doing it at 29 mpg. Its just quirky and not for everyone. Sort of like golf clubs.

Good topic. I was thinking about finding something new to drive that got good gas mileage, was sporty, not to expensive, and fit golf clubs. Was thinking about test driving one of these. It would save me some money to pay for my golfing habit. :-)

I put one back seat down for my clubs and put my clicgear cart in the boot behind the seat that is not folded down. Fits perfectly. If you want to take a buddy, you can put both back seats down and put the clubs cross ways right behind the front seats. There is room for a big cooler, 2 backpacks and 2 clicgear carts. You can also put the front seats all the way back for plenty of leg room.

Enjoy a MINI!

Fun truck? Now there's an oxymoron. The only way a truck is fun (IMO) is if it's transporting a non street-legal motorcycle or a racecar.

Hey now, trucks can be fun. Mine has 403 hp, all wheel drive, handles pretty good, rides like a cadillac, could carry atleast 5 & all their gear. But I also think a mini cooper could be cool. Heck I'd like to have about 20 cars and a different set of clubs for each one! All in fun!

if you don't mind me asking, where did you find faults with it? just the general lack of power?

I don't own one, but I've test driven them multiple times

I'd probably say my main complaints about the Mini would be the interior layout, and overall build quality/solidness. It's not fast, but the handling is where the fun comes in to me (I've driven plenty of fast cars, but still found the mini to be fun), I do judge a car more on it's handling than on it's power though.

I'd also have problems with the $$$ of the Mini, by the time you get one optioned the way I want it's 30 grand, and that's some competetive territory up in that price range

It can handle but ever since I first drove a car with 700+ horsepower I've been hooked on that feel. It's a different kind of fast, I've had and driven some light quick cars, but I personally have a lot more fun in something that has a lot more torque. I appreciate minis and have nothing against them just not for me. I'm sure some people don't like my current car and thats ok because for driving around the city I love it. And for the price I way rather have several other cars than a mini.
