How do you like the rtg? I kept eyeing them at GS when they were discounted but now they are gone. I wanted to get 56 to try as my highest loft but I was worried possible digging slash not enough bounce for certain situations. What is your experience? Love the way they look.

I love my rtgs. I was looking for another set but wanted to try something different. The rtgs def have more flexibility but with any wedge, practice is key

Should also have a Bio Cell + 3/4 FW arriving tomorrow that will be getting some Chrome Plus luvin..

 

I gamed the Pro with the Chrome it was a great setup! Have fun with it.

By no means am I a pro. An honest 12-14 but I will stumble into a good shot over the course of a round. It was dead today so I could drop two off the tee and man nothing.. thought maybe it was just too low spin with the pro but had the same issue with the fw. On 17, I hit ANOTHER 'wtf' so i made a comment about how im gonna hit this at 25%. Pow right down the range, dropped another and another .. three in a row. Then put my normal swing on it and sweeping draw/hook..

I was exactly the same with the Chrome. As you say, thought it was a lovely shaft, but I had the 6F4T and like you, it was just far too flexible in the mid section, and felt a little like the GD DI in that respect. All I was getting was 'hook city' with it. Probably could have got away with a 6F5, but didn't want to drop another £200 on a gamble, so I left it. Staying with the Aldila Tour Green 75, which I'm pretty happy with for now.

Looking forward to seeing the setup. I tried to like the BC hybrid (with Motore Speeder 9.8) but it didn't work out for me so it will be on the BST soon. The BC+ and BC Pro are very solid drivers though. Everyone keeps talking about the BC+ fairways, so that might be the next experiment...

ive had the + fw before and it was good. Not as good as my 3446 but dang close. I went to the BCP as anything 460cc looks like Im swinging a balloon for whatever reason. I just cant get past it. My OCD has issues with too much variance so prefer to have woods or at least shafts match. Never tried the 5/7+ but since i had an exta 80 D+ laying around and the bag was basically set..

well until Joel decided he was willing to part with a couple fujikura shafts..

Couldnt keep the D+s in the bios off the deck so hoping the extra height will help. I also have the bio cell 3h that I alternate in. Well I will once the steelfiber comes in.

as you can see, I dig rust. The protype is stupid awesome. So much so I am selling my beloved Kirk Currie. Sacrilege of sacrileges I know. I have an Adams Pro VST that is currently shafted up with a fubuki 465 that I think will get the Steelfiber treatment as well.

 

As for the wedges, they will be heading down to Continental this week to get stripped raw.
