Orlando Playing partners

hey guys, I've just recently moved back to the Orlando area and looking for good group of guys to play golf with. I play a lot so would be nice to play with some people where we can push each other to play better.

 

I'm 24 and hover between 3 and 5 handicap. I played collegiate golf for Rollins college.

Where in Orlando are you? Which courses do you usually play?

I'm usually out at least one day over the weekend, sometimes (more often than not) both. Play wherever mostly, live downtown so I'm central to everything. Playing right around a 5 at the moment. Always down for more playing partners.

Im down. I'm 27. Played growing up and in highschool. Havnt played on the course enough lately for a handicap. I'm not a bad golfer tho. Getting back into playing hopefully once a week.

I play all over, I work downtown. normally during the week I play tuesday and thursday mornings and on saturday and sunday sometime. we should set something up this next week.

What do you guys think about playing Metro West? Havnt played it yet but it looks beautiful. Only place in Orlando I have played is Shingle Creek.

Stay away from Metro West for the next few weeks. I hit balls there on Saturday and it is in HORRIBLE SHAPE!!! Punched everything, grass is super long on the greens/range. Course is bad right now.

I work at Stoneybrook West and we are in great shape, as well as Grand Pines which I played last week as well.

Let me know whenever you all want to play. I play just about every day and thursday mornings are a regular for me.

I played Grande Pines and it was in great shape last weekend. Also Celebration was in great shape as well. I've never played stoneybrook west.

everyone should list the dates they are available and we can find one that works with anyone who wants to play.

Zac and I played Celebration a month or so ago and the greens were terrible. Like Zac said though, Stoneybrook West is a great course.

I will say tho, woke up this morning with another dam pinched nerve or something in my lower back. Gonna need a few days for that to heal up.

Like I said, I'm always playing on the weekends. Haven't booked anything yet for this weekend but I'm looking at probably playing stoneybrook west around noon time on Saturday. Not a morning person on the weekends.

You can pretty much throw whatever out there and I'll probably bite. My golf buddies are out of town for the weekend.

I know man... I have to meet with an old client! We should set up next weekend tho.

I will be playing there on Monday with a fishin buddy so I can get a round in and a feel for it. I think I may play there alot. Course looks nice and I am loving the prices to death.

The course is great right now, greens are speeding up indeed. We did just bump the rates up for the fall, golfnow.com will still have some solid deals on tee times. We also have a 2 day pass for $50 or something like that. Ive been out of the country for over a week so I am alittle detached from our current promos at the moment. Probably an 11 right now. No plans for punching or anything. Just fixing a drain or two on the course, only on holes 3 and 4, but none of the digging is in any of the playable area..

Hey everyone

 

 

I'm going to be in Orlando from March 16 through 21st. I'd like to meet up with some locals and play somewhere decent but not too expensive. I can't play the 16th or the 21st due to my flights, but any day between those two days works for me. I'm 21 years old, got my handicap down to scratch just before winter hit.
