Mens Clubs in Phoenix?

Does anyone know what courses offer mens clubs? I know the city courses have some, 500 club has one as well. Would like to start playing more and wondering if I have any options.

I am in the North Valley. I17/Carefree HWY. I have played in the 500 club in the past great guys, just a bit high priced for that course IMHO. Just curiuos if anyone else plays in good ones and where they are at.

Grayhawk used to be good. Trilogy at Vistancia was supposed to have one, then I never saw if they did.

Foothills and Trilogy Power ranch are two of the better ones down my way here in the EV. Tons of events and good mix.

I've played in the men's club at Longbow for the past 4 years, it's pretty solid but not exactly in your neighborhood.

Not familiar with much on your side of town. If the 500 Club is on the high side of your price point, you are not going to find much other than munis and 3rd tier courses lower that that.

Papago and Dobson in Mesa have very large memberships and the events fill very quickly.

Its not that it is on the high side of the price point. But it is on the low side of the value chain. Like you said, I consider that a 3rd tier course and 90 buck seemed high for that track. But then again I have never played in other clubs and am not sure what they do in terms of discounting green fee + all the diferent games of the day.

I got ya. It is highly desirable to find that place with the right mix of interesting golf course, price point, club management and proximity to home. Longbow offers all that for me. They do a decent discount from the rack rate. From my experience, munis don't have much room to give breaks. Most clubs add about $20 for the prize buy-in and then an optional skins game.

Not that close for you but one of my favorite courses on the west side is the Raven @ Verrado. It seems they have something called the Sunday Men's Club . [url]http://www.ravenatverrado.com/leagues_tournaments.htm[/url]

Maybe something in the SunCity/West/Grand area? Some decent and not too expensive courses there. Not sure if you would be playing with a bunch of old farts however...

Trying to think what is even up there on your end of town... Dove Valley? Tatum Ranch? Legend Trail? (moving east...)

What about arrowhead country cub? I heard that they have a really good mens club with some real sticks
