There's not much to flip in this years..

A silly canvas bag, and some stickers?

Maybe the keychain, but who's gonna spend more than $15 on that? I wouldnt.

I think you'd make your $90 bucks back... it's kind of a letdown, but the headcover could be a lot worse, so I think it'll get a decent amount.

Someone will buy them. They always do.

Does it really take 4-6 weeks to get the kit in the mail? And also is it really difficult to buy a headcover when they release them even if you have a Club Cameron membership?
Just checked my emails and last year I ordered my kit on Jan. 4th, it shipped out on Jan. 7th and it was delivered Jan. 12th.

Depending on the head cover and the total number released (e.g. 100, 500, 1000, 2011), most don't ever make it through the first 48 hours (Club Cameron only) to public release.

It is almost impossible to remember how tragic a place the world is when one is playing golf. -Robert Wilson Lynd

My boss's kit took almost the full 6 weeks but it was very late in the year. I would imagine right now they ship very quickly and mid-year they probably take a little longer.

You've got to get on the site fast if you want them...usually. I know some have sold out in 15 minutes although today's Hula release is still up.

Fingers crossed that I'm getting a "topless" model.

Just to warn you guys, the whole CC thing is really addicting. There would be releases where I would forget about everything i had to do that day just to catch a release that was 'possibly' going to happen. Whether I liked or disliked a cover, I'd buy it just becuase. I really got out of control. Sure you could always sell them later, but normally at a slight loss unless you were able to get a special.

I'm really only a fan of some of the older covers.

I must agree, this was my first year as a CC member and i didnt realize it until i spent $116 on the US Open cover and it got delivered to my house. I opened it up and my wife looked at me and asked what the hell was the matter with me. In case you havent seen it, it is bright green leather with a mermaid on it. I sold it, and vowed to only buy the covers i liked from now on. There are a lot of older covers that are pretty cool that i have been picking up. Like instead of buying the purple hula for $116 i picked up an older cover for $50 that i really liked on ebay. Just my opinion.

LOL don't you guys think that's self control? I only buy the covers that I think I would game (Vegas) or ones I know I can make money on (Cameron Collector) otherwise why buy them? I'm not sure anyone would come to my place and be impressed with putter headcovers being on display.

The best membership kit was the one that had the duffel bag a few years ago. I still use it.

FYI:

Very close to the same bag, different logos:

i am on the fence about joining this year...i think last year's kit was better with two headcovers plus the belt buckle (which i sold off). the headcovers will always have value, the rest is more hit or miss. i did put the sticker on the wind fairing for my bike rack however...plenty of bug splats on that one!

Does anyone know if you can get the head cover with the Club Cameron kit for a Kombi?
I'm pretty sure you cannot - it just comes with whatever is stock in the kit.

That being said, I really like this year's kit. My circa 2000 Newport Mil-Spec headcover is getting a little ratty, I like the keychain fob and the cash bag is a good idea. I usually just throw everything in my top pocket, but I like this idea (I know there are much cheaper solutions) since I can just throw my ballmark repair tool and marker in the bag, then swap it with my valuables each round. I usually have to dig for a tool a marker, so this will solve that.
