virus emails

I'm getting what seems to be virus emails from UST Insider. I gave them my email address when I signed up thru golfwrx a few months ago (even though I can't win anything from overseas ).
Anyone else experiencing this? I'm getting like 6-8 emails an hour and I don't know how to take it out since the UST site/contact emails are in my address book and aren't recognized as spam.

I just looked at the Ust homepage. On the first site you can scuscribe for the Tour Insider newsletter. There is also a button to unsuscribe. I have just tried this and I hope that I won't get all this mails anymore.

I just noticed in my email today about 6 emails from them. I didn't get anything popping up in my Norton about it being a virus though. It's the first time for me getting those. Seems like it might have been misdirected emails. Some announced being on vacation and other nonsense.

I'm getting the same emails, too. And I get some from people telling me to stop send THEM emails. A bunch of out of office replies, etc.

I got 12 this morning and every 30 minutes or so I get more. It's the same message.

I just received an email from UST Corp. They will be coming out with a statement shortly concerning what just happened. Obviously, it effected a very large number of users.

I had a bunch of them. I put the email address on ignore and that stopped it. Any more word of what happened? Was it sending out emails from actual users that had signed up and then using their address book entrees?

I have their e-mail blocked for now, if somebody will post up when they get it fixed, that would be appreciated
