About the PGA Contest, so what I am trying to figure out is......

Let's see, there are 700 people logged on to golfwrx, and only 194 have entered the contest.

 

Not enough prizes?

Don't like free stuff?

Sponsors not perky enough?

Contest too complicated?

You were expecting a free gift with your free entry?

 

What is it? I can see how contests are not that big of a deal. I don't join any on another website. But this is supposively a more focused audience.

 

I am going to test a theory for the PGA Championships and the grand prize for that contest will be a car. I was thinking a BMW M3. Of course the winner has to pay for shipping. Who's in for that?

Likewise, I'm scratching my head over this lack of interest for this contest. I've entered in every single of DM's contest and have enjoyed it. Even though I've been a big loser everytime, :wave: but come on, how can one not win all those nice prizes if you don't enter this contest which did not take me very long to type up my entry.

Me? 100% laziness, combined with timing (I had to dilute the laziness a touch to make me feel better). Lame excuse is that I've been unplugged for almost a week. I usually do well-ish in these contests, in contention but outside the prizes, but the only thing I feel like I'm missing out on is supporting the contest. The prizes are absolutely amazing, and the formats make it fun to watch from beginning to end--even as an observer.

ok--after 3 minutes of heavy introspection, I've decided that the reason I've yet to prioritize these contests in my life is that I can't commit myself 100% to winning. while I LOVE sonartec, it's hard for me to get on board with a righty club regardless of who plays it. :help:

Tho' I'm batting at 50% level of the field, I think it's a way to really enjoy watching the majors, rooting for your picks (all of them), versus just one or two players that are in contention.

We cannot be responsible for custom charges. Shipping has generally been supplied by our Sponsors and we have had winners from multiple Countries. There would probably be a minimum charge for items won and shipped internationally but, it depends on item. TrionZ bands have been shipped almost all over the World. Of course since this is the first time the question has been asked and not the contest has started, I guess its a mute issue now. :help:

I've wondered about this myself and can't come up with anything much that would explain the lack of participation. Even a technotard such as myself can figure out how to enter a few numbers in a reply, takes about 2 minutes because I'm slow. I'm afraid we have more voyeurs than participants.
