Go for it- if you miss the fairway, you can punch out back into the fairway and still have a shot at the green in regulation, and if you make it, cool, you have a shot at an eagle, or at least an easy birdie.

Your on a long par 5, from the tee it's nearly 270 yards carry to the drain.

You lay up, then hit 3 wood.

Your 150 yards out a few inches away from the left side of a tree, your a righty.

You can play it righty but you''l have to take your stance in a deep fairway bunker with the ball way above your feet with the toe of the club almost fully upright. If you play it righty youd have to aim right and allow for a hook but the tree branches are in the way.Your opponent is on in 3 with an 8 ft putt for bidie ad he is a good putter, it is your last hole. What do you do?

Draw bias- I hit a slice more than I hit a hook- I'll just set up to hit a fade and let the driver hit the draw to keep it straight.

 

If you couldn't use any woods or hybrids, what would be your lowest iron? Would you stay with your current lowest iron (4, 5 iron for example, and put in more wedges), or would you stack up and put in the 1 and 2 iron?

I'd play a not side ways, but not right at the pin. Kind of in the middle of that to help my odds of ending up with a decent shot.

 

290 yards par 4 in tournament. There is nothing but trouble left and right. Lay up or go for it?

Go for it, my driver has been good. a tip on driving, when hitting it bad, threaten to put the club on ebay, works every time

Depend on the distance but if we are talking 3 wood distance I would lay-up.

 

20 yard chip - a carry over the fairway/rough of about 6-7 yards. Do you take out the pitching wedge and land it half way there or to you opt for the lob wedge and land it next to the hole?

I'm assuming fairway bunker. I'd take one less club and play to the middle of the green and take a 2-putt.

 

 

You have a chance to have any single driver/shaft combination you could want. What would you hit? (I know, took it a little different direction, and yet still in the context of the title.) Don't give me any of this,"I would get the driver that gave me the most distance and accuracy," crap. Name a head and shaft. (LOL, maybe even a Blaze Orange Matrix Ozik Altus, whatever floats your boat)

I would prefer(this is hard, I just got a new 3 wood and a new 54* wedge) to get a new driver(905r) and 3 wood(906f2)

you have a chance for any iron set and wedges but the have to be one brand and name ths shafts and flexes
